Turnbull2000
Don't feel as bad as I expected. Probably due to being used to suffering these sort of moments this season.
Tisd09
Gut punch that. After playing very well too. Looking at that Barca performance we shouldn't be petrified of going there. Obviously it will be a tougher test than this evening but not impossible. Lewis Hall what a player man. Such a fantastic player.
The Prophet
Played really well there. Sucker punch at the end, but don't see why we can't give them a game at their place.
Mattoon
Positive, both teams need to win the return tie so it won't be boring at least, still think we've got enough to go through. Some great football by us tonight, passing was quick and decision making was actually decent for most of the match, we just failed at the final hurdle. RodneyCisse
1-1 without context would feel amazing, we more than deserved to win it but not to be.

alexf
I'm just wondering how late do we need to score to avoid conceeding. Just feels inevitable every game this season. Great performance all round, lacked cutting edge for most part. Lewis Hall man of match.
Jonas
With what we have, what's out injured, Gordon ill before the game, to nevertheless dominate the game and take a deserved lead 1-0 would have been scant enough reward for the efforts but we'd have had a famous victory on the night but to not even have that in the cruelest manner imaginable!?! Optimistic Nut
Exactly why I wanted Barcelona over Chelsea. The elite European teams aren't used to playing teams as in your face who have the same quality we do. Chelsea are used to that and would probably beat us fairly straightforward over two-legs at the moment. Would honestly rest everyone who we want to start at Barcelona, at Chelsea. The league is gone, or one more defeat probably won't do much difference to a top 8 challenge. Play the same way over there as we did tonight, the first game v these, PSG away after we got through the early storm, I think we can beat them. andycap
Our only problem going to the camp nou is the referee will be a homer and will be straight into his book anytime we lay a hand on them.
Sir Joel Inton
A sucker punch but when I get over that, I’m genuinely more positive about us getting through at 1-1 than I would be at 1-0. We’d go and try and sit in on that 1-0 lead and get torn apart, imo. Man City away on steroids. At 1-1, we can go and PSG them. Reckon we have every chance. We are turning into a bunch of entitled moany cunts, ffs that what we should never do. I don't want us to be Chelsea, Man Utd, Liverpool, basically the scumbag six supporters. If you watched that game and thought, right, lets have a go because it's not good enough, please just fuck the fuck off. Think people are well within their rights to express criticism of the late goal and poor game management, whilst also saying that we played really well and loads of our players had excellent games. That’s not entitlement.
dcmk
I don't mind the idea of going for a second and put them to the sword. It hasn't worked out but like the intent. I think with it now poised 1-1, we don't approach the return leg defensively and can do us a favour.
Beren
Mental week. Ecstasy of the Osula worldie winner after being (wrongly) playing with 10 men for ages, pretty comprehensive and crushing defeat to Man City in the Cup showing how far away we are to the mountaintop, and then this gutsy Barca performance which has generated massive ambivalence. I personally feel that although this is a highly frustrating season in many ways, to have this kind of an emotional rollercoaster and tension in March is pretty good if you zoom out from this season in isolation. KingArthur
5 minutes ago, Yorkie said: Agree entirely. 1-0 never likely to be enough over there and we had them on the ropes. That wasn't the issue as you say. Completely shit the bed in that last passage of play + terrible ref gone over the four minutes. Barnes sub was 90 minutes, so that is why there was a bit extra. To have beaten them on the night would have been wonderful and memorable but I don't think I'd have had that much confidence going into the second leg. We're shite at backs-to-the-wall like you say.
