Arsenal vs. Newcastle United: 25/04/26 @ 17:30 (Sky Sports)

Recommended Posts

We should play all the lads who want away in this one assuming they are fit. Gordon, Tonali etc will want to put on a good show for the cameras, so we might see a performance. Livramento is obviously out though.

I think a combination of all the pressure being on them, and none being on us will see an upturn in performance. Could be perfect for a spoiler result.

We'll finally get a much needed win...

Naaaa. Sorry. I'm an optimist usually, but feel we'll get the backlash in this one. Expecting a dicking.

Fully expect the leadership team to arrange another of their semi regular squad meetings away from Eddie and Tindall.

Hopefully it will include Big Joelinton dishing out an 'encouragement beating' to Elanga.

Wouldn't be at all surprised to see a reaction and sneak a 1-0 win, especially if Bruno starts, Ramsdale is switched out for Pope and Elanga is left in Newcastle.

4-0

I was thinking the same back five, then Bruno and Tonali, with a front three of Gordon (if fit), Woltemade and either Osula or Ramsey on the right.

5-4-1 out of poseession, 3-4-3 in possession.

Think we'll lose but will put in a performance and it will be closer than many think.

It'll be bleak, this. I'm planning to neck enough beers in the sun beforehand that I'm too pissed to remember or concentrate on the match, hopefully negating the inevitable bad mood that comes following one of our games lately.

Arsenal fan on 5 live earlier saying they’d rather be playing us than Wolves.

Hard to disagree, the rest of the country have cottoned on we’re fucking shite and will roll over like spineless cowards again.

Arsenal might be panicking tonight, but this the perfect game for bouncing back. Easy win, boost GD and make a statement.

Prediction: Howe does some stupid stuff, but is given another free pass.

Remember the time we went just after new years and Howe basically committed a crime that should have seen him convicted under the Terrorism Act 2002.

Ball was in play for about 17 minutes. They were fucking raging afterwards, the media were raging also.

Same again next week, please.

Was class that. Felt like proper upstarts crashing the party.

Remember when we played West Ham in 96, right after that Man Utd game, and took it out on them? Almost unsporting. I’m sure we broke a record for shots on target or something. It genuinely should have been ten.

So. Yeah.

If we’ve got Ramsdale in goal for their corners, we might concede 10. They won’t stop either, as they need the goals. Please bring back Pope.

Ramsdale cant play against his parent club

Just put them in the programme as ‘a trialist’

Really don't understand why this hasn't happened yet. Pope has been poor this season, but Ramsdale doesn't even seem to know where the posts are. He's all over the place in his goal, his movement seems to have nothing to do with where the ball is in play.

Obviously we'll probably lose but we usually do better in bigger games, and Arsenal are vulnerable if we could ever score.

Maybe you’ll get the “make-up” decision for the Gabriel non-red?

If you go full shithouse there’s a chance the fans lose their shit and that transfers to the players.

We don't have it in us boss. Asking for our lot to make a tackle at this point is an ask.
