There is not a chance that the Gallowgate could be extended with those buildings in such close proximity, and especially not an extension of Level 7. This has got to be fucking stopped man. NCC will ignore any objections with that as their basis, even if the councillors didn’t ignore it, and rejected it on that basis, then the developers would appeal and it would be overturned on appeal. We have to find legal reasons to reject the application when it comes online. Also for residents who live in NCC territory, find out which councillors are on the planning committee, get in touch with them and tell them that you’ll vote against in the next councillor election if they vote it through. Twenty years ago a group of pensioners managed to stop an entire stadium being built on Leazes Park. Nobody is telling me that with the right will and direction this abomination cannot be prevented.
