Looks huge does Gosling, like - surely wasn't that bulky before? Not that it's an excuse for a lack of signings, but he is like a new signing. Quite looking forward to seeing what he's like, without having particularly high expectations. Another body for the midfield is a-okay, though.

Aye, Gosling has somehow transformed into a huge fucker over the last several months.. Good to see tbh

Not when you consider his knees are fucked.

If the lad has any sense he'll be conditioning his lower, not his upper body.

Aye, Gosling has somehow transformed into a huge f***er over the last several months.. Good to see tbh

Not when you consider his knees are f***ed.

If the lad has any sense he'll be conditioning his lower, not his upper body.

For all we know, his legs are even fucking bigger.

Actually that's not completely true. If you have ligament damage the last thing you want is excessively strengthening the muscles that insert themselves into such ligament too early. Although increasing your bodyweight isn't advisable either (I f***ed up my knee ligaments when I was 16).

Anyhow, I expect his fitness is monitored by the club doctors, don't think he has went on a weight lifting rampage by himself.

Do you know that his knees are fucked? Or are you just speculating as per usual?

If there's anyway Jose can be talked into staying he'd be the signing of the summer in my eyes.

And don't you believe that's exactly what the club statement will read!

Oh aye probably - like a new signing and all that bollocks.

But he's as good a fullback as we've had in my time of following the club.

I'd bet talking shite as usual. The lad doesn't have a clue.

As far as I know he has had two relatively major knee injuries in his knee. The anterior cruciate ligament injury he sustained at Everton, and the knee injury he picked up against Sunderland in January?

I'm no sports scientist, but you'd hope there are being measures taken to support his upper body weight gain, in his lower body.
