Zero
Sometimes, just sometimes, you do wonder, what the fuck was the ref thinking.
jdckelly
Dan Roan @danroan PGMO ready to let Clattenburg ref this weekend but after talks both parties agreed in his interests not to pending FA/police investigation getting silly this
Adam
Under the rules of football is swearing an offence? If I was a ref and someone told me to fuck off I'd red card them. Referees need more support through replays and technology there is no way they can see everything, the fact fifa wont use technology shows how backwards they are. geordie2000
yes swearing is an offence if directed at a match official. IIRC the law wording is "foul and/or abusive language towards a match official" and is a red card offence. However Graham Poll said on 5live, that officials are told to try and keep 22 players on the pitch.
NEEJ
Some of the stuff Rooney (just using him as an example) gets away with is disgusting like. If you're openly telling a referee to eff off then you should walk. It's ridiculous that they've let it go on so long to the point where it now seems acceptable. Benwell Lad
If the accusations levelled at Clattenburg are false I think that almost everyone connected with football in any way will want to see Chelsea Football Club and the players who made the allegations very severely punished. Tisd09
Will Chelsea be clamped down on though? Will the authorities want to be seen to be sympathetic towards people standing up to racism. The FA may find Clattenberg not guilty but still think Chelsea are ok to report what they "thought" were racist comments.

Matt
http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/20244204 This feller sounds like a typical media whore, claiming to represent people but actually having any credibility. Dave
Just feels like this whole issue of racism needs attacking from a different direction. 'Kick it out' is a bit old hat these days IMO, so how about this as a radical alternative. PUNCH MUTHAFUCKA http://i.imgur.com/S0W6N.gif
Matt
I meant to type 'not having' obvoiusly. Yeah, plenty of examples, Wraith is good one, who was that guy who was head of the independent NUFC supporters trust and kept being quoted in the media about 10 years after it was binned? I'm just staggered at the column inches this guy is getting.
Wullie
What's the guy's name that used to be quoted in the nationals whenever anything happened at NUFC? Always named as chairman of some supporters association which didn't actually seem to exist. Malcolm something or other I think. Edit: Matt ffs.
