Should have been sent off and all. Still can’t believe people thought it was good defending against Isak. Clearly goes through him from behind to win the ball. Ballard over Burn, FFS
-
Wages probably far too much for a player doing that role. Moyes said he’s already agreed his next move anyway.
-
-
Would anyone be averse to getting someone like Doucoure as a back up CM? He’s not going to set the world alight but he’s a steady option if there’s an injury crisis.
-
As recently as a few weeks ago they were also booing that Watson lad who scored the winner in the play-off final apparently
-
They were slating Bellingham at points last season and even this season. No wonder the lad is desperate to get away and hawing himself about all over Germany just hours after getting promoted .
-
DCL to do a reverse Wood…? That’s go from being shite and turn excellent for us. Probably a stretch.
-
The other day there was some discussion about him being worth £80m in the Premier League, whilst others in the same discussion were saying that they wouldn't be too bothered if he left. Both cannot be correct.
-
Living off the name and rep of his brother, innit. Like Lee Howey.
-
Not sure the thickos on X have quite grasped how photographs work
-
If we sign something like GK - Trafford CB - Guehi CM - unsure, Mateus Fernandes, Lamine Camara etc RW - Mbeumo Or similar quality players for cheaper prices... I guess I'd be content with DCL

Just opened the thread for first in ages - opened on this discussion...

PIF aren't helping us here 🙄 one thing to buy a rivals player it's another to pay WAY over the odds. PL are so corrupt allowing this
-
99 problems and this bitch ain't one

If they sell Bruno Fernandes, would you really trust the board to find a suitable replacement for him? He literally saved them from relegation last year. Sell him and I legit think there's a realistic chance they will go down.
-
That was in the same season, right ? Players just stay at the same level forever ?
-
I'll be honest, I feel like the word "utilised" is doing alot of heavy lifting. I don't think Longstaff can be utilised for anything anymore. His head has completely checked out. He feels under appreciated and its time he moved on. We could be playing a league 2 side and I wouldn't have any confidence in Longstaff. I just can't face another year of: Longstaff gets caught in possession/gives the ball away, the crowd groans, then Longstaff gives it that lost puppy dog look. I like the lad, I love that he's from Newcastle but for the love of God let him go.
-
Used to think that until we played Bromley

Selling Fernandes for a large amount solves one problem but creates an even bigger one tbh. How do they replace him? He's carried that club and suddenly swapping him for a bag of cash doesn't seem like such a good deal after all. The way that club wastes money on absolute shite I'd not back them to fill even half the hole him leaving would create. Their signings have been wank for years now and now they have to spend £100m correctly to replace him? I'll not hold my breath
-
Longstaff remains the sort of player we need for the domestic cups, surely? Don't think we can be using the likes of Isak, Tonali, Botman etc in the early rounds.
-
From what I have seen of him there's nothing to suggest he's near the level of Lewis Miley.
-
From what I can see. They use consultants to hire "best in class" people. But they aren't strongly led or empowered in strategic direction. And as you say, big decisions are slow. Staveley is a big miss. She had drive, direction and influence, although she seems to love spending other people's money a bit recklessly. Disappointed in Eales handling of the DOF role. It seems a power play in retrospect because he didn't have the power.

Paul Mitchell to leave club by mutual consent at end of June (Official)

Oh without a shadow of a doubt and for a variety of reasons - to protect relationships, to avoid potential libel or where they won't have 100% proof or evidence. I've heard so many stories over the years on people within football that I would never dare put onto a public forum, let alone in the press.
