Pope will push him if he stays.. but his kicking will ultimately see him as the backup eventually. We could potentially have a full back line that are regular England international starters. I'd probably take the opposite approach and start him as number 1 as he'd be coming in off the back of an amazing season at Burnley and getting a big move so you'd expect his confidence to be sky high and we'd still have a brilliant keeper to fall back on if his confidence did drop. That's obviously reliant on Pope being happy to stay on as number 2, which he might not be as he's still one of the top keepers in the league. Either way I think Trafford's a good signing

Not a big fan of the decision to have this fixture. our Champions League results against the bigger clubs relies on a bit of underestimation followed by shock and awe. But if we draw Atletico they will have a bit of a clue about us

Yeah, would be great if we could get someone in that can feature anywhere across the front line. Both Gordon and Barnes really didn't look convincing enough on the right and it limited us so much, as we couldn't really mix things up and play them together effectively. Would be amazing if Pedro can play on the right and be productive, and make that position his own, while being able to fill in elsewhere. Villa used Morgan Rogers behind the striker, left, right and even as an 8 in central midfield and he always caused problems and was a threat. We could really do with some more players with the versatility to be a threat in different positions. Starting with that pesky right side.
