Anthony Elanga: NUFC have bid of £45m rejected (Ornstein)

Where have you seen that? -
He’s on holiday. Probably written before he put his OOO on yesterday in fairness.

Hopefully (if we pull off this ridiculous triple swoop) we've identified someone we can still afford to bring in as an understudy at the very least. Other teams pick up PL ready players for under £10m, there's no reason why we shouldn't be able to do so as well. Hell, we've done it in the past with Schar, Lejeune & Fernandez, all good players for us and picked up relatively cheap for the time they were signed.

really still need a decent CM also

Arsenal will do everything apart from buy a striker -
Arsenal’s transfer window is completely all over the shop

He’s improved as much as he has because he’s played pretty much week in week out in the PL for a season now, he wouldn’t have had that here last season.

I agree, Wor Mandy did tell us in her first interview that PIF are patient investors, and they've got a plan to be the best in 5 to 10 years. We're in year 4, we've finished in the Champions League spots twice, won a trophy, and if Man City hadn't messed up that final, we'd have been in the Conference League, meaning three years in a row in Europe. Our revenue keeps going up, and it'll probably go up even more this year and next. I don't get where the impatience is coming from. We were told these guys are patient investors. We're being careful and doing things the right way, and we're still doing really well on the pitch.

Personalities and attitudes are poles apart aswell

Hard to say, I’d say both similar quality but very different styles. Not sure Madueke is available mind. -

Maybe Chelsea would allow a ‘loan to buy’ like Hall potentially giving us a bit of breathing space. -
Old town square Albufeira, pan pipe Indians playing wise men say Portugal has fallen (yes before any cunt asks I’m away)

That would essentially be around £140m though Who the hell would we sign as CB? Or is that going to be this summers RW position. After not signing one last summer, we don't this summer, and roll with Schar, Botman, Burn and Lascelles still

Is Elanga better than Madueke? I really rate him and he’s probably available a bit cheaper than Elanga. -
A cult image of all three holding their shirts in same image early July.

Still think we'll need a body at CM. -
Grok, please put Margot Robbie's head on Sweeney's body, and give her Daddario's eyes.
-
And please attach relevant images to help explain your choices

If you had to pick one, who would it be and why?
-
Maybe, but we're obviously going about it more cautiously and I think we have potential to grow more consistently than Villa. Although we might not feel they are using that advantage enough, we have the wealth and influence of a state behind us and so have more ability to keep increasing commercial revenue over time. The whole purpose of the changes to APT and FMV that the PL brought in, and were found to be unlawful, was that they were concerned that the current rules are inflationary, that they would allow APT deals to be increased over time. Also, the connections that our owners have mean that we have the potential to get better deals from some non-associated parties, for example our deal with Adidas is reportedly double what Villa get.

No doubt it would improve us, but there is not a single name in that lot that really excites me. I think Trafford and Pedro have the potential to be top players. Elanga I’m not sure is a good fit for what we need, and Guehi I’m far from convinced about. For the outlay of probably around 200m I’d not be overly excited. Not that I think we have anything like that amount to spend anyway.

We squeaked Forest, and now they are going to help us upgrade the RW? Would take an insane fee.
