Ha aye Sunderland away Boxing Day! Man City home first game monday night!
-
Alun Armstrong the new Heed manager. Underwhelming to say the least. Fans not too happy about it, it would appear.
-
I flew straight to PSG two years ago from Bristol ha
-
The fake leaks have begun already.

Wasn’t keen at first but more I’ve learned about him the more I want him. Those horrid second half’s against Everton, West Ham and Brighton last season are where we need someone who can bring something different when we look devoid of ideas.
-
Butlins or the Bernabau? Tough call.
-
Since when did Ekitike become an £80m player? I can't really say I've followed his career since he left PSG. He must be really tearing it up in Germany for Frankfurt.
-
https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/articles/c4grnrg8dy8o WSL going from 12 to 14 teams from 26/27 season. Top two get promoted next season.
-
Did it not start off as Euros not Pounds when 60m was first mentioned? Trying to remember myself…
-
No one is paying £60-70M for Semenyo. I'd be willing to take a bet on that too. Sesko has a far higher ceiling than Pedro in my opinion. I'm just not completely convinced by him and the price being quoted. As r0cafella said, the fact that he wants to leave and the club has clearly put him up for sale should mean that £45M+ should be the fee. These prices being quoted for Ekitike etc are basically fuck you prices.
-
You clearly aren’t a good reader of people if that is your honest take
-
Most of them could disappear up their own arse.
-
Hojlund went for 72m. We’d want 80m for our right-back. A worse player in Ekitike will go for more money too. It’s a reasonably fair price imo, maybe 5-10m on the high side but that’s Brighton.
-
Wow, that Athletic guy is instantly annoying the tits off me
-
I think Pedro playing between Isak and a Tonali/Bruno midfield could be transformative. I just don’t understand how we expect to get everything we need at these prices without making a sale. It seems unrealistic.
-
For a player that wants to leave and a club that doesn't want him? For a guy who has one open play goal in the league in 2025 (against Southampton I might add) For a guy a arguably doesn't improve our strongest 11. It's a lot.
-
Decent defenders are going for 50m. 60m isn’t an obscene price to pay for a versatile young forward that could make it into most top teams’ starting xi’s.
-
Chris wood is the only one that comes to mind.
-
Sesko’s going for 70 odd, Semenya 60-70m, Ekitike 70m plus, Wirtz 130 plus etc. 60m isn’t that much for a young attacking player tbh. The fact that they want rid should put the price down but Brighton are good sellers so it balances out.

Oh I'm way happier than I was, getting away from football was definitely a net positive for me. I was obsessed (like anyone who was around back then could probably tell that ) and not in a good way. Thank you for the well wishes! It means a lot. Same goes for you, while I haven't been watching I'm very happy to hear Ashley is the rearview mirror and it seems like better times are ahead and already here quite frankly.

Feels like a bit of a revolving door in that U23 gig. Suppose it makes sense, if someone's any good they'll be snapped up for a more senior position.
