Athletic Crystal Palace’s Guehi remains admired at centre-back, Burnley’s James Trafford has long been a goalkeeper target, while Brentford’s Bryan Mbeumo, Nottingham Forest’s Anthony Elanga and Bournemouth’s Antoine Semenyo are among the right wingers Newcastle have tracked, and Ipswich Town’s Liam Delap is a striker they have closely followed. Significant due diligence has taken place on targets across multiple positions. As for Longstaff, that situation is different. The 27-year-old has not started a league match since December 12 and he is about to enter the final 12 months of his contract. Should Newcastle receive a decent offer for the midfielder, he is likely to go — the club exercised an extension in Longstaff’s present deal primarily to protect his value — should he choose to. Willock and Barnes face uncertain futures. As far as I am aware, Newcastle have not been actively looking to move on either but, given sales will help facilitate the incomings required, should serious interest be shown in Willock or Barnes, there is a chance one or both could leave.

Everton will not be easy
-
Aye, he's been really good again this season and if we can get him for around £40m it'd be a brilliant signing. Could be the starting CB for the next 7-8 years
-
Guehi, still think it might happen too
-
Putting the Parish and Palace stuff aside, as well as likelihood. Who would people pick between Guehi (40m) and Huijsen (50m)? I think I would go for Guehi personally. Because he’s more experienced and is more of a leader. But most importantly I think he would stay long term and be committed for longer.

With CL qualification and more financial leeway I’d hope we can really beef up the team this summer and really take the team up another level.

It point gives us something, but very little compared to what a win gives us. So yeah I for sure think its worth the risk. Not saying we should send the keeper up on a corner in extra time like. -
Agree with both of those
-
Why would there be hundreds of these kits hung up in a JD stockroom then?

If I was to have a bet. Huijsen will end up at Chelsea, given who is agents are. Delap will end up at Man United.

If you compare what point changes vs taking a risk and losing the game, do you still think it doesn't give anything? My point is, most likely we will not risk it if it is still even at the end. -

There's no way Eddie will be going for anything other than the win. -

Is there an opportunity? -
Will be nice if the blades get to wear their, possibly more famous, red and white stripes.
-
I wonder if we'll have a charity sponsor on the last day of the season? Would be a bit mean of the club if they didn't take that opportunity.

Still dont see what a point gives us. If Villa or Chelsea slip up with a draw we only need to get a draw vs Everton ourselves. A win vs Arsenal on the other hand secures CL and gets us in the prime position for 2nd. Cant see us not going for it. -
I have got one of these from the gate as well as the green third strip but the badges and the ASICS are stitched on. As I recall the originals had them printed and stuck on which I think in this case they look better due to the dodgy stitching from the Davey gate.
-
Not really. They are a CF away from being a very very good team and he’ll be paid what he demands and more with the security of an extra 4 years. What is crazy about it?

I really want to buy the grandad kit after seeing so many people wearing it in the sun at the weekend. Might get it for a celebration at the Everton game. -

Nice to know JD are getting that other shirt back in stock, might have to take a dip and get it. -
Reckon he'll end up at Chelsea, which would be another crazy move
