Yeah will go down as one of the worst finals of all time. The lack of quality was stark. At one point second half there was a passage where both teams just kept giving ball back to the other within two passes. Horrific stuff. The scrappy goal fit perfect.

Man Utd, Man City and probably Liverpool would have rather have had Arsenals season, but us Arsenal and Spurs would have preferred Spurs' season IMO. When winning a trophy has been such a long time coming, that's all that matters and it becomes easier to ignore the league. If you're used to winning trophies, then being competitive in the league becomes more important, as that is a more accurate description of how good you are as a team and where the club is going.
