Collar looks like a labia

They need to change this rule not raising flag straight away - he wouldn't have been injured if they had
-
Be nice but ...am more confident in us beating Arsenal
-
Agree with this. Vacant eyes of a pisshead. Seems like a pretty weird dude too. What you would call BTEC in every sense. If he wasn't a footballer he'd have a 3 French bulldogs, a grey crushed velvet settee, range rover evoke on tick and a 'yarden' with fake grass. Edit/ He probably still has all those things. Depth of a puddle of spit.

The lad has ability and I trust Eddies coaching to bring the best out of him - the only way I can see it working though is if we are selling Barnes and he's competition for Gordon for the LW slot
-
Would rather go to Rwanda mate. Or maybe even Delaware.
-
Not a chance Grealish works hard enough to tick the huge boxes we need. He's not shit but he's not a Newcastle player based on what Howe needs and wants. It's a ridiculous link
-
A Grealish with the Pep shackles removed playing in a free-ish role as part of a midfield 3 rather than a winger, kind of like he did at Villa(?), could be great. As a left winger I prefer Barnes and Gordon. Grealish right now appears like a slower version of our Damien Duff. Carries the ball a few meters, dribbles inside without getting past anyone then passes the ball backwards, rinse and repeat.

I wonder if those circles are what @Shadow Puppets called the bubbles which are part of our home shirt?
-
Easily better.

If the team is expected to serve goals on a platter for our world class striker in order for him to score, we could literally play anyone up top and just cash in on Isak. I'd say his (lack of) movement, runs and inability to get past a man on top of fluffing fairly easy chances is just as much, if not more, of the problem right now.

As a frequent flier from Newcastle to Bologna (still not directly, grrrr), this has been a lovely couple of months
-
He's barely got a kick in months, Miley and Willock preferred when fit. He played an important part in previous seasons but he's not very good at all. 10 million is on the money I think. If he was looking back in form Howe would have used him more.
-
Did you put that bet on Stockport to go up at the beginning of the season @Optimistic Nut?
-
Under the right coach in the right team he could regain his form again, then you have a very good player.

Arsenal vs. Newcastle United: 18/05/25 @ 16:30 (Sky Sports)
Colos Short and Curlies replied to HaydnNUFC's topic in Football
It's the thick end of £10m difference finishing 5th and 2nd, a significant difference for us but not for Arsenal or indeed City. Club motivation may well play a part on the next 2 hames -
Was linked last year I think but would Charlobah be a shout? Sounds like he might be on his way out of Chelsea in the summer. Not sure what his valuation is?
-
Check out that Newcastle team that came in 4th. He was huge for us when we countered from a low block. But he got benched when our style changed.
-
In fact, they've only beaten 4 teams NOT in the relegation zone all season. City, Fulham (twice), Everton and Brentford. That's abysmal by any measures you care to use
-
Not sure what he would bring to a counter attacking side tbh.
-
Man U have only beaten 1 team outside of the relegation teams since the middle of December (Fulham away). They're losing their last 2 games, they're absolute pigshit
-
Yeah, he's not really cut out for possession football, is he? He'd be much better in a low block counter-attacking team. Places like Nottingham Forest, Everton, or Crystal Palace would be perfect for him.
