  1. Past hour
  2. Yep - if we’d been relegated to Division Three it was on the cards
  3. Was the club about to go into administration and liquidation? Honest question.
  4. The club doesn't exist without Keegan KK remains no.1
  5. Also, trophy aside, he saved us from relegation under new owners. People can say he had money to do that, but buying the right players and using them correctly is what sets Eddie apart. Signing Trippier, Bruno, Wood, Burn and Targett. Could have been Mbabape and we get relegated. He got us safe. No.1 for me.
  6. Kevin and Sir Bobby are close but breaking the 70 years curse is something else. Howe is no.1.
  7. Today
  8. Annoying Delap wants Chelsea. Everyman and his dog knows he’ll be available for loan in January 2026, after he doesn’t play much and Chelsea still want a striker.
  9. Eddie won a trophy. Keegan and Bobby both had brilliant sides, but Wor Eddie won that trophy. He's number 1.
  10. Thanks again for hosting it, even though I skipped some weeks because I forgot the deadline, still enjoying this so much. Cheers
  11. Couldn't pour watta out of a boot if the instructions were on the fuckin heel.
  12. And because I'm bored I just did an enhanced version of Neeek Pope: https://drive.google.com/file/d/195TkofQ4hbu9vofiv8UJtGFG9q5B4lOJ/view?usp=sharing
  13. I made the audio my text message alert. https://drive.google.com/file/d/1ese_iLov8kpv5je-pVrW7_YZwNJdodbw/view?usp=drive_link Then changed it to Bruno going 'hee heeee!' https://drive.google.com/file/d/1I8vh7lOv9Oi5T5DWPHd3DdcCJRu3Ye9u/view?usp=drive_link
  14. Yesterday
  15. as much as i adore KK, King Eddie seems to be cut from a different cloth. less emotional and cold as fuck.
  16. like some on here, they've seriously underestimated how good King Eddie is.
  17. probably didnt want to risk his relationships with anybody within the club. now that eales and mitchell are leaving it doesnt matter.
  18. This is the story they keep pushing and they have but not by that much. The athletic. Chelsea’s wage bill fell £66m to £338m, but 2022-23’s figure included an estimated £45m in termination payments. Another tidbit. Without selling their assets to themselves — including two hotels in 2022-23 — Chelsea’s pre-tax loss over the last three years would have been £358.3m, more than three times the amount permitted by the Premier League, albeit their PSR loss reduces from that level once allowable costs are deducted. Cartel clubs have it so good.

    NUFC Transfer Rumours

I think Chelsea stopped handing out daft wages didn't they? Seems to be lower wages but massive contract lengths now.
  20. And he played under Maresca in the Elite Development Squad youth team at Man City, double pull if he liked playing for him.

    NUFC Transfer Rumours

Be £££££ - we'll probs not be able to match the wages being offered.
  22. I'd hope so. A legless keeper wouldn't be much use
  23. Is that cause Everton have a new Stadium? cause their squad is worth like 50p
  24. Do you think this has legs? Or maybe a bargaining tool to get Trafford cheaper.

    Will Osula

Some people just don't like the lad it seems. To say he's shown nothing when he's played is absolute bollocks. Wilson reminds me of cisse before he left he was finished couldn't do the job he was asked to do properly which in turn hurts us as an effective way to score goals. We have a very hesitant manager in trusting youth to do a job better than his trusted lot who make errors all the time but still play.
  26. That’s great - he comes across as a sound bloke. Clever fella too
  27. https://www.nytimes.com/athletic/6388655/2025/05/28/premier-league-clubs-value/?source=user_shared_article Newcastle, somehow, don’t make the list but Villa and Everton (?) do. (https://archive.ph/Weh4q)
  28. Having watched most of our Fairs Cup games along with 59,999 others in SJP from under the tin shed of the loudest and most rowdy end the ground has ever had, seen Wyn Davies being brutalised by the Italian captain Fachetti when the ref wasn't looking but battled on and scored regardless, along with a whole batch of other never to be forgotten, legendary, historical NUFC moments, I would say it was one of the best times in the club's history and an amazing achievement.
