  1. Past hour
  2. Does that mean we have a nervy win v Everton if we wear ours?
  3. https://www.nytimes.com/athletic/6367273/2025/05/19/newcastle-women-grace-williams/?source=user_shared_article Grace Williams, from Palace, coming in as new director of football. Big summer ahead.
  4. They were wearing the their new home kit against us
  5. Looks like Raya was wearing the new Adidas keeper template. .
  6. Still find it astounding that we are 27 points ahead of Man Utd..Crazy stat that I thought i would never see
  7. Spurs and Man Utd 5 and 6 points off Champions League 🤣🤣🤣🤣

If Isak is fit, I'd be playing Barnes and Murphy next game. And that's from someone who was a bit wary of Barnes before his latest spell. Off the bench, if we're ahead, Gordon can come on and stretch them on the break. I always thought it would be the other way round with Barnes being the sub, but that's probably the form right now. Gordon didn't play badly in the last game (in fact the whole team played pretty well) other than one mistake, but I think he needs his confidence back. He hasn't really been the same player as last season except in spells. But I still wouldn't like to play against him if we sold him in the summer, not that I think that would be sensible or likely anyway.

We should sell him (and definitely not just because we lost yesterday and need a scapegoat). Can’t imagine how that kind of short-sighted, reactionary thinking could massively backfire.
  10. I think Cunha is great. Good signing for them imo. Bit of a risk signing for them as pretty much everyone they buy regresses, but that wont/can’t last forever.
  11. Didnt see this earlier. Another 7m just for Europe? Thats mental.
  12. A huge stat going in our favour is we haven't lost this season when wearing the 25/26 strip.
  13. He nabbed some nerd's geps man. They're a club in need of direction and character (and yeah, goals), and they've gone and got a Brazilian radge. He'll be dripping in diamonds and 5 clem heavier in 8 weeks, mark my words.
  14. What about a Mackems knocked out, we come out the traps on fire and batter Everton. UCL here we come followed by a nice bank holiday type of weekend!
  15. Yes. This is what the table looked like after we lost 4-2 to Brentford in December GP GD Pts 1 Liverpool 15 18 36 2 Chelsea 15 17 31 3 Arsenal 15 14 29 4 Man City 15 6 27 5 Forest 15 1 25 6 Aston Villa 15 0 25 7 Brighton 15 3 24 8 Bournemouth 15 3 24 9 Brentford 15 3 23 10 Fulham 15 2 23 11 Tottenham 15 12 20 12 Newcastle 15 -2 20 13 Man Utd 15 1 19 14 West Ham 15 -8 18 15 Everton 15 -7 15 16 Leicester 15 -9 14 17 Crystal Palace 15 -6 13 18 Ipswich 15 -13 9 19 Wolves 15 -15 9 20 Southampton 15 -20 5
  16. Start the game like we started on Sunday and we'll win it within the first 30 mins. Don't think they'll offer much resistance if we score one early, the place should be absolutely bouncing and scoring early eases all of the nerves and makes a Pickford worldie an irrelevance. They're weak defensively, their full backs are shit and they're poor at CF. Score early and we'll breeze past these cunts
  17. He scores goals. Thats a major problem almost solved. He’s a ‘bit of magic’ goalscorer too.
  18. I get it😅😅😅 I am editing that
  19. Any member of the crowd not up for this confiscate their tickets!
  20. If the crowd and team is up for this in the way they were up for Spurs 6-1, PSG, and the Arsenal semifinal then Everton frankly have no chance. Hopefully there's an early goal and then we make it comfortable because it will definitely get nervy in the second half if we're not winning by 2+.
  21. Yep to both. It was a shame possibly our two best open play chances fell to him. With his shot, he actually struck it a lot better than I expected, but that says more about my expectations of him as a striker given it was straight at Raya. It's a real weakness in his game as it stands, and it would add a lot if he can improve there.

What was special about his game last season was how aggressive he was in every part of his play, he was popping up with key goal contributions in big matches and his self-belief made him often times unplayable. We're not seeing that this season. It's glaring.
