Crazy amount of empty seats

Been all Man City so far.

I remember thinking it was obvious that it wasn’t a sustainable run, we were far too reliant on Cisse burying every shot he took. Think the Swansea game we won, which was a slightly higher scoring version of the 1-0 wins we used to have vs Spurs when Krul had a blinder illustrated it best. One of the few times in my life when Newcastle has been a shining ray of light during a shit time though, which is something I guess.
-
Yeah i thought this was at Wolves. City win but fingers crossed.
-
Aye I was absolutely convinced that Ashley had cracked it as owner at this point and we were on an upward trajectory. Think we got spanked off Wigan 4-0 straight after this game.
-
Was down in the Falklands for that whole run of games and can remember just laughing at the absurdity of that goal when watching it on BFBS. By far the most satisfying result was the Liverpool game, not least because my boss was a 'Pool fan who made that whole detachment more difficult than it should’ve been.

(Comfortable) Home win

Looking forward to tonight's game. I think Wolves are capable of taking points off them.
-
Definitely feels like that late Bodo goal could be a huge moment like, at 3 nil it feels over, but getting 1 means it's very much doable. Hoping Wolves do us a favor tonight, they've been in decent form to be fair, wouldn't rule out a draw. EDIT - in even better form than I realised to be fair, unbeaten in 8 of the last 10 games and have won their last 5 in a row.

3rd year of 6, as we bought him before they closed that loophole after Chelsea took the piss.

13 years ago fuck me this was the night before my 18th birthday... remember watching osulivan vs Robertson in the snooker that night and kept checking ceefax for the score... remember hearing bout cissie's 2nd goal and just spent the remainder of the night watching it on YouTube lol.... couldn't sleep that night I was buzzing... genuinely thought we were gonna qualify for the CL lol

Checked the previous seasons where a team secured the title a few games before the season ended. The overall picture was a slight drop off in form, but none of them had a negative win/loss ratio. -
Sounds like you’re wrong in terms of your Fender knowledge but with pointing out that I and many others had little interest in Newcastle under Mike Ashley. Certainly something I wouldn’t hold against him if he did.

I love the idea of "the timeline"

Group picture of the marras from the backshift, Wincey's Bar & Grill, a patriot protecting Seaburn monument... erm...

Aye but he's not bringing in Paul Dummett and Matt Ritchie. Liverpool's back up players are more than good enough to beat a Chelsea side who until the last few games were routinely being booed off their pitch by their fans.
-
Hahaha it is as well! Tattooist could've chosen any design for the ball, but went for the sphincter-on-display option! Also what's that other shite, Penshaw monument and a lighthouse as significant Sunderland landmarks? Why not just get...err. Nope, cant think of anything.
-
Salah will be as desperate as always to score, that gives them a good chance.
-
Pleased you got sorted. Sorry I didn't reply. On holiday so only check the forum now and again. Looks like possibly the biggest occasion for Blue Star since their rebirth.
-
Arne Slot and the players, I'd imagine. They'll want to keep momentum and win the league as emphatically as possible. That is the mentality champions have in any sport.
-
Absolute bullshit, for a start you don't make a journey to St James on the day of the takeover when you have no interest. So much so, that he was still drunk on a pre arranged tv interview the following morning.

Normal fans one, the players version, the Carabao cup final one, the winners one & now the sam fender one
