The most important thing is to get players who may not have come without CL. That calibre. Tonali would never have come if we didn't have CL that season. Elanga and Joao Pedro would come to us regardless of where we finish as they'd be taking a step up to a bigger club. I'd love to see some ambitious names because everyone is majorly strengthening and to improve significantly you have to make up a lot of ground every season.

Why not? Anyone player can be transformational. Especially someone replacing Jacob Murphy.

As shown by other clubs - you can't lift the Brentford or Brighton model by taking one of the components. You need to bring the whole team - data, analysis, scouting etc.

Trying to force an anthem like everything else. Like an end, nickname or regional iconography its an organic thing. They just dont have any of. Ourselves, Liverpool, Man United, Arsenal, BIrmingham, Norwich, Coventry, Portsmouth, Leeds, Southampton, Man City, West Ham off the top of my head have famous long standing songs commonly associated to the clubs by media and other fans that have been perennially sung at most games for generations. Even we didn't know that's their tune.

Agreed. I’ve not checked the stats but I think Bruno would average 88 minutes or game or more. With the amount of games we’ll have next season he’ll need periods of regular 55-70 minute subs. We’ll neee quality to replace him not squad players.
