  1. Past hour
  2. so glad forest chelsea and villa all play before us. advantage us.
  3. The rise of the Stan from Alliance to the NPL and also becoming arguably the "coolest" non league team in the region (they certainly sell the best beer) has been brilliant.

I read an article about him the other day, seemingly been frozen out since the Lijnders left Salzburg….shame really
  5. Gabe Kidd sporting some toon merch on last nights AEW Dynamite:
  6. Any player out injured for as long as he's been is likely to pick up niggles when returning, especially mid-season. Saying "he's out for the season through injury" is ridiculous, btw. The season ends in 10 days ffs. At this stage, you could be out for the season through a severe toe stubbing.

  8. I like it, those seahorses look hench as fuck. I don't think it will be it though, but simplify the castle/lion/flag part and sort out the perspective a bit and it's nice
  9. Adidas releasing Arsenal's new kit for last game of season.
  10. You're about to get CL due to a dodgy offside decision in a game without VAR!
  11. It is bizarre really, but decades of being kicked in the nuts has made us that way. It's taking longer than it should to realise just how good we now are
  12. He's struggling massively over there, not even making their matchday squads these days. Needs to start again in the Championship imo.
  13. Exactly, it's good! In all seriousness the reactions to it are really confusing. To love the current badge but hate that is mad, it's just the current one made to look a bit meaner, that's it. It's also only a rough sketch.

  15. Definitely one for the unpopular opinions thread but I find Simon Jordan entertaining. Obviously, his role is to be a gobshite, often taking ludicrous positions to draw debate, but he talks a lot of sense on PSR and football finance. His interview with Eddie Howe was interesting as he did not do the usual sycophantic drivel and asked some challenging questions.
  16. If this is the first time this has happened in 6 years surely the other scenarios are much more examples of the norm than they are hypotheticals.
  17. For us to finish 7th, Forest would need to beat West Ham and Chelsea and we'd need to lose to Arsenal and Everton. For that to be Europa Conference, Palace would need to win the FA Cup final. It's not impossible of course, but given the form of all concerned, it seems unlikely.
  18. Sid

    sunderland

At 90 minutes during the playoff semi there was a ton of hatred and bile being spewed on RTG against him, 40 minutes later he was the new Messiah. The hilarity of rail works traveling to Wembley when we were in the League cup final has now turned to how Sunderland always get picked on as there are rail works on the day they need to travel to Wembley. Desperate need to portray victimhood due to the weird malaise that hangs over their club and " city".

Cesna Citation Jet coming into Newcastle from Salzburg…Bobby Clark coming home.
  20. I think people need to disregard that thing, it's not gonna be that, it almost certainly never was an option, and was probably someone dicking around and never for public consumption, and some dickhead has broken some confidences somewhere to throw it into the public realm.
  21. his last injury was his other knee though wasnt it? Who knows what this one is.
  22. We can still finish 7th quite feasibily and if Palace were to win the FA Cup, that would mean conference football next season, which would be very disappointing. Forest do play after the cup final though, so we will know if we have at least Europa secured by the time they play. If Palace do win the cup then I'll be wanting Forest to drop points, just to be on the safe side.
  23. by Lee Ryder, aged 40 odd and a half.
  24. Assuming we keep growing at our current rate (28% reported for the 12 months ending 30 June 2024) then we should be okay as that will allow us financial clout to improve each year regardless of what the others do. There are a few players out there that I can think of (and likely a lot more) who would improve our current first team squad from mid table teams in France, Germany and Spain for example that Arsenal, Liverpool and Manchester won't be looking at.
