Would be interesting to see how they value their womens team, they're pretty rubbish by WSL standards.
-
Can we expect big name signings this summer?

I see Middlesbrough have been promoted from tier 4 into tier 3 next season. They led the table by +3 GD on the final day and their nearest rivals were at home to the bottom side, so a real chance Boro could have been pipped even if they won their final match. They both won and Boro even won by the bigger margin, and ended up with a +5 advantage. Probably good news for some fringe and local Newcastle players. Just looking at their website and I knew the likes of Wilkinson, Skelton, Boyes etc. went this season, not sure how many games they got or if they will be good enough for tier 3 next year, but I also see that Georgia Gibson, Becky Ferguson and Kacie Elson are on their website - I think Gibson went on loan, but not sure about the others, but I was thinking those who have climbed the divisions here, but perhaps not quite good enough to be starting for a team looking to go up to the WSL, could maybe look to head there as well, possibly the likes of Barker, Potts, maybe Donnelly etc. and they could still stay in the area.

Sure we could sell him to Burnley or someone then if he does return

Yeah an obligation if certain conditions are met https://www.juvefc.com/report-reveals-the-condition-that-will-force-juventus-to-buy-lloyd-kelly-from-newcastle/amp/ Not saying that the above is true but it has been reported that it is if they make Europe. The only doubt I have is that it seemed to be a pretty definite thing at the time of the transfer. Maybe Juventus were overly confident of getting into Europe!

Aaaaaand he's injured.
-
It’s an obligation not an option to buy
-
Trafford Huijsen/Thiaw Lamine Camara/Andrey Santos Mbuemo Another top drawer central midfielder is vital when you rely on playing 3 and competing in Europe. Come round to the idea that Mbuemo can cover across front 3 and Osula is going to be a superstar.
-
Yeah a loan to a promoted team would be good for everyone I would suspect if he can stay fit, what a shame this signing has turned out to be
-
Another left footed CB? Doubt
-
Going to be laughs when they don’t qualify for Europe and he’s back here next season.
-
If it is true then it is concerning. If AC Milan win the Coppa Italia then only top 6 get Europe. They’re currently three points ahead of 7th with tricky games to come. Will become two points if Lazio avoid defeat in an easy game tonight

Injured again? Bloody hell. Seems like he’s been injured since we signed him permanently.
-
One for the ITK nonsense, but imagine...
-
Juve have Bologna & Lazio next.
-
Pretty sure there was an official statement from Juve at the time; it’s an obligation to buy him.

Felt like a lot of the games they won early in the season they used up a lot of luck doing so. You could say they've been equally unlucky in their defeats, but not so sure. They are a young team which has been played into the ground. The manager has had no real choice but to ease off (not bscked in jan) just depends whether the row of defeats has climbed inside and knocked their confidence. Fans as usual haven't helped, kicking off about the tail off. Same fans who booed off their teams 1st home defeat sometime in November (or near that). Not sure the fans have the stomach or bottle for the playoffs. Theyll point fingers and nash their teeth at the players if thry don't win, but that lack of support, energy, nerves and entitlement will seep into the players and it becomes a self fulfilling prophecy. Just takes one moment though. If thry get it things quickly change. Very interesting to see how they handle it.
