It especially rankles after what he did to Burn with his elbow whilst playing for Chelsea. The little rat-faced snide of a man.
-
Genuinely pleased for Palace. Their chairman may be a bellend and their middle class try hard ‘ultras’ cringeworthy in the extreme, but seeing a team for which winning a trophy matters so much is always better than City, Liverpool hoovering up another. Would I be saying all of this if we hadn’t won the Carabao? Absolutely not. I’d be green with jealousy.

Palace will be an interesting club to watch for in summer. Very high chance Guehi and Eze will go because of clauses / gentleman agreements from last summer. Then Wharton is the prime asset, where if a club like Real Madrid make a big move, it will be hard to tell Wharton, “No, you can’t go”. Could have like £200m this summer, but then they have a new DoF as Freedman is moving on, so no sure thing they are successful in their buys as previous years. Could load up on a load of Nketiahs.

I'm one of the 99% well done Palace

Pardew. That’s it. Apart from that, I don’t hate them.

That's a touch of class

What’s their injury situation? I have a feeling that a fit Isak (which we no longer have) could well be the difference between this and our previous victories over them. - Today

I used to dislike Parish cos he was humping that bonny lass off morning telly, I'm pleased I've found another reason.

Le Harve scored a 99th minute (panenka) penalty to stay in the league. It moved Reims into the relegation play offs and Strasbourg (Chelsea's feeder club) out of the European spots.

99% of posters on this forum are chuffed for Palace and really enjoyed yesterday's result

I love the alternative version which happens in my head where Lascelles marches over and punches his head from his shoulders and it lands somewhere in row J.

What's the drama ?

Fair play. That's class that

Don't really have any axe to grind with Palace. VAR howler aside, they were worthy winners and reduced City to very few chances. Fair play.
-
Henderson 100% should have been sent off. If VAR does it's job, it completely changes the complexion of the game.
-
Watching the highlights back, I got irrationally annoyed by the “Holmesdale” gimps in their white t-shirts. It’s like Wor Flags getting dressed up in matching specially made gear. Weird people.
-
Absolutely. Human nature, I guess. Henderson could've easily been sent off ( I say could instead of should because of their interpretation of the rules.....this time) and Mitchell DID get a touch. Balance was restored...

An event occurs completely unrelated to Newcastle. Invent an imaginary narrative just to claim “Mags will be fuming”. Every time.

Apols if.....etc etc but this, I like
-
Palace will surely have to sell this summer with a year left or risk getting nowt? I mean he’s served his purpose, they’ve won a cup, comfortably stayed up etc. Parish can’t really take the same hard ball approach again to whoever he deals with.
-
Call me cynical but I think the penalty call gets overturned if the handball incident didn't happen. Like they realised afterwards (or were told) that they'd messed it up.

Don't forget the European pedigree.
