"Sandro, who's the most underrated player you've played with? " "Sean Longstaff" "Ikon, what do you think of Sean Longstaff?" "pub player" 🤔
-
Aye he did seem to lower his level / be super rusty like when he played less frequently.
-
When Longstaff doesn’t play regularly and only in the lesser cup games he looks like a pub player. He’s just not good enough anymore. Like him though.
-
I just hope we make a really good solid signing or two early on and we’re not faffing about then moving onto other targets.
-
Must of went there because of the wood they were given.
-
Have to remember we have CL football next year too. Longstaff will likely be utilised in the cups and against lesser sides, etc.
-
Man Utd went to my secondary school to give a free lesson to the students I am a Man Utd fans now lol
-
The common usage of "purple" on here always baffles me, since it was used by one of the biggest wankers ever associated with our club to justify him and his mates doing the bare minimum to keep us afloat
-
Yea I think we will renew the contract in the end. Just imagine if I am Longstaff, whilst I am no longer the starting eleven, but my boyhood club is heading to glories and I could still play a part in the journey. I would probably take it, instead of starting the EPL journeyman life. What I want is probably just a good remuneration package since this is probably the last good contract I can get in my career. He isn't far from having playtime too. If Willocks gone then he is just 1-2 injuries away from starting. Selling for good money is beneficial to the club but probably not to the player. And I do think Eddie likes him. So I think he will renew and stay.

Gerrard not going to Rangers. -
I do think we have enquired about him a few weeks ago, when the story first broke out. And very likely we got the answer like thanks for the enquiry our client is very interested to move but he needs time to make the decision etc. After that the agent contacted Barca immediately and tell them either make the move and pay him huge salary or I will bring the player to Newcastle. Smells like Etikite saga again.

Purple in a NO context cones from Derek Llambias.
-
He has to go, it's either that or we renew him. Difficult bit is finding someone who will give us some money for him.
-
I don’t think he will go unless the club force him out.
-
Not sure but when a driver in Formula one is the fastest in a sector during qualifying the time is displayed in purple. They also use the term he's gone purple in that sector. I imagine their is a higher meaning as there is the term he's going through a purple patch in sports in general.
-
I don’t think both Longstaff and Willock will be off. In fact I would be surprised if anyone of them can go this summer.
-
Delap to Chelsea Bad decision for the player and for the club imo. He should go to clubs like Brentford for 2 more years before going to lead the line for the mega clubs At this moment I don’t think he is better than Jackson. Jackson is very underrated

Report from extremely unreliable Daily Mail (again) journalist = Man United drowning in Saudi riches, apparently.
- Today
-
Aye that’s him but not at TVP but near there.
-
Yet more Saudi money that Man Utd don't have, apparently.

I know Mrs Bruno and Joelinton do most of their shopping at Back Page, but Maxi found enough clothes shops to be satisfied. They can always go on a midweek trip to Milan with wor Julliette.

You know how we love to laugh at Chelsea, one thing they have got right is the multi club set up (yes I know this is widely hated for good reason). The fact they can use another clubs balance sheet to buy players is massively helpful and having a dedicated club in Ligue 1 to develop talent is a massive advantage for them.
