Son is certainly the closest thing, and I would consider him world class when he was around 28. I wouldn't be surprised if a fair few Asian players are considered world class in the next two decades though. Japan and South Korea have slowly been working their way into Major League Baseball since the 90's. And now a Japanese player is considered by many to be perhaps the greatest MLB player of all time, and the dude is still relatively young.
