He clearly loves being here. I look at him and imagine him being here after retirement, doing podcasts and stuff.

He's one of the advantages of having a slightly older squad than most. We bring on seasoned pro's to close out games. You can tell he's a proper character behind the scenes. Good professional, supports the team, trains well, mentally prepared for battle even though he's unlikely to get many minutes. I don't think Chelsea have that type of culture in their club. Lack of leadership in management and above - most of these players have seen out 2-3 managers already. Too young. Too detached from the fans. Lack of leadership in the squad. I look at Krafth and I know "he gets it". It gives me faith that Miley will make the step up because he's surrounded by players that get it.

Roflham Lolspurs - "It's Just Who We Are Mate"

I'm really conflicted about who I want to win the EL final, but I think I'm leaning towards Man Utd. Man Utd in the near/mid term are likely to start challenging for CL places again, they can't carry on being a clown stepping rakes*, eventually they'll hit lucky with a good manager and/or a servicable squad. Whereas denying Spurs CL cash damages their ability to rebuild the squad and become a serious CL rival in the near term more. What would a Europa League trophy mean for Man Utd? Not much in reality, they've won it before and I doubt they consider it one of their greatest achievments. Wheras as the Europa League would free Spurs from their 'serial loser', 'bottlejobs' 'Spursy' reputation to some extent. We all now know what a sheer relief it is to get the trophy drought monkey off your back, but I don't want that for Spurs, the league needs a laughing stock. I really liked Ange at Celtic and I'd be happy for him personally to win the EL, mainly to stick it to the media and his own fans who've been giving it stinking to him, but frankly, their fans don't deserve the joy winning that trophy would bring. Interested to hear your thoughts. One thing that I hope the whole football world can agree on is that neither of these cunts deserve CL football and whichever of these jokers fumbles over the line, it doesn't vindicate their trainwreck of a season nor does it excuse them essentially forfeiting the league since March. *they can, I suppose -
This was Rodri on FIFA when he was 20. Now I'm not using FIFA scouts as some authority, but he obviously wasn't pulling up trees at Miley's age and even older. I think Miley will play a similar role when he fills out too.

Surely one of spurs or man u eventually show some kind of pride and get at least a point (against villa or chelsea) before the end of the season

We’re getting 2nd lads

Well who knows, depends what other people do. -
We just haven't been that side. We aren't that side. It's Chelsea and Forest that have been the poorest over the last 20 GW's or so and I think are most likely to have a twist go against them. Villa have been brilliant and have 2 of the best matches coming up. I expect Man U to win the Europa, so will have a hangover on the last day.... and they are shit. It's all coming up Villa.
-
Both of them going for Europe, honestly I think the most Spursy thing they could do is win those two games, but lose the cup final between.
-
Maybe focus on themselves, they have a massive game coming up and potential promotion.
-
I think we will. Hope I’m wrong. Even a draw doesn’t make much difference does it (?)
-
Good god, Chelsea were utter knobbers yesterday. Awful to watch them niggle away the whole game. Cucurella winds me up a treat, I have to keep calm when he is so close to me pitch side.

Yep. I've got no reason to think we won't beat 1 of Arsenal or Everton. We should win and qualify for the CL. And this is with a fair few injuries now. As you say, if we get CL, we could add 2-4 players to take us to another level. We'll have had 2 seasons on 69-71 points and another 60-point season. Add another 2-4 quality players and we could be a 75-85 point team or a 70-80 point team + a deep CL run. That's another level from where we are and I think it keeps the Tonali's and Isak's long-term where we can add more of them. Could we start doubling our Saudi-sponsorship deals? And it helps keep the Saudi's super engaged. If Villa gets CL, they can continue to wheel and deal and keep a similar squad level. If they can maintain this level of squad, they have the potential to be an 80-point side. That is why I hope they miss out and need a selling summer.

You assuming we lose to Arsenal? -
You do know I want to be 100% wrong on this occasion Just feel there’s a big twist on that last day. Hopefully not detrimental to us 🤞🏻

Those two games being Villa away and Brighton at home…
-
Think we might have done it to Southampton in 2022/23 the last time we played Carabao Cup semi finals. H - 3-1 win A - 4-1 win LCH - 2-1 win LCA - 1-0 win
-
Maybe the RWB role gives him more space, time and in different areas to usual on the ball. Which allows him to get his passing sorted. Small sample size. But he looked so much more comfortable in possession from the off. One of our best players with his passing and through balls. Probably only Bruno did it better.

Scary good. Mown down all of the relegation fodder and generally held outfought and outthought our Top 6 peers. Now to solve the pesky south coast cuckold clubs problem for next year…
-
I said a few weeks ago that this side has never really let us down by bottling big games. They sometimes get beat but never through a lack of bollocks. Gonna be tough for other teams next year when we add 3/4 quality players.

Actually it's usually the opposite, but this board and fanbase in general i'd wager is still recovering from the Ashley era trauma Almost everything I see is thinking of the worst possible outcomes despite the fact the team seems to be quite fkn good. Idk i don't watch football anymore, i just read this board from time to time so it seems like they're good to me.

Was funny how utterly unbothered he was in contrast

He spoke about his fitness regime in that the overlap interview you can watch it on YouTube i think. Nothing ground breaking what others have said he prefers to stay out of the gym.
