Reckons either would still cost at least £100m though.

Yeah Joelinton's shoes are pretty big to fill, that's why I'm not that surprised that Howe turns to Willock. He might not have the phsyical presence, but he does cover the left flank pretty well. I think the 3 centre back/wing back combo is the next best thing with our current squad.

And able to slot into a back 5, wing back etc when tactically required And he makes runs in behind / is a target for the long ball Prime Willock is better with the ball / attacking sense, but weaker defensively Don't think there's many like for like replacements, I like Ederson from Atlanta if we want more of the same, or Cunha if we want something different

I really like Gittens, he's tall, has explosive pace and loads of potential. He's more technical than Mbuemo but I'd say he's more of a risk coming from the Bundesliga. I trust in Eddie whichever way we go.
