  2. Not even restricted to the footy board, you can go for over an hour during the day without a new post in general chat, never mind a new thread.

  4. How long will we go with Colchester having beaten more Premier League teams than us? Thank fuck we played Spurs away cos if it was Bournemouth at home or something that game we'd be rock bottom.
  5. Doesn't sound like he could operate a device to read it on. https://www.theguardian.com/football/blog/2011/nov/30/steve-bruce-sunderland-sacked

  7. Don't think I'll be able to sleep tonight like, so excited.
  8. Conspiracy theory time - do you reckon there's some games where it's just been fucked and they've not wanted to admit it? There's been a few games where there's been multiple incidents which seemed clear VAR candidates and they've not gone to it once and games where they seem keen to wheel it out for a laugh every few minutes. I mean if they start the game and the feed to the VAR suite is down, or one of the machines isn't working properly, what do they do? Do they tell the ref "Sorry, tell the players no VAR today?" In which case you're going to get managers and fans asking for games to be replayed, because it's not a level playing field with a relegation/title rival playing in a game where VAR is working and their injustice can be fixed. But they're not going to stop the game until they fix it, or send the fans home and reschedule it, are they, for one it would be a farce and for another it would lead to angry demands to shelve the system altogether. So it wouldn't surprise me if it had happened and the ref was quietly told not to refer anything to it for that game and just claim the incidents weren't contentious enough.

  10. Fuck it, wildcarded. Only thing is you can only use one chip per week so I can't use both a wildcard chip and triple captain Salah for his eight goals today. height=600https://i.imgur.com/zbHt7lS.png[/img]

  14. Got a lower attendance because people couldn't be arsed due to it being Watford than we did during an organised boycott against Arsenal ffs.
  15. Yeah, everyone's fucked https://www.chroniclelive.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/steve-bruce-six-players-struggling-16820413
  16. Obviously we've only had three games, but Pardew did this kind of thing to flatter to deceive as well didn't he? Lose without threatening week in, week out against unimpressive teams, then now and again when the players motivated themselves without his intervention because they were playing Arsenal or Man City we'd pull an improbable win out of somewhere and that's all neutrals would watch or remember.
  17. Pretty fucking wank portfolio then.
