Just needs one and the Cisse machine will reactivate.

Looks better as DM than Anita at the minute. Not sure why we even started Anita in midfield when for the last two games he has looked better switched with Perch to RB. Think he deserves a run in midfield tbh. His passing is decent, passion undeniable and decision making probably better than Tiotes.
-
Looked bright and hungry when he came on tbh. Then collapsed in Obertan style to whimpish behavior and poor decisions.
-
In all seriousness if he keeps on this form we will struggle to keep him in January. He is sensational right now and touch wood looks like his injury nightmare is truly behind him. I doesn't matter if he is taking on two players, still have no doubt he will turn them inside out. Loving every minute of him.

Fair play, looked fantastic today. Getting back to his best after last seasons dip.

A joy to watch. We are fucked when we sell him in January like. He is the only thing creative happening for us so far this season.

Always looks odds on to create something and beat players in the opposition half. Lacking badly on end product though. Needs to cross, have a crack. Seems to have Obertan/Gutierrez final third lack of confidence disease. Decision making as a team needs to be better, we over run the ball or make the wrong decision 8/10.

Newcastle United 1 - 0 Norwich - 23/09/12 - post-match reaction from page 35

The good and bad side of Obertan there. Started well then fell to pieces over a funny five minutes. Absolutely awful performance from us at home again. Can pass, can't keep possession and bar Ben Arfa we are clueless coming forward. Good performance from Perch, Williamson, Ba, Harper, Anita (at RB), Santon and Ben Arfa. Average at best for the rest. -

Thought Anita was good at RB, not convinced by that decision. -

good god. He will score in the second half though. -
This really. surprised we didn't play him on the left rather than shifting him and Ben Arfa to positions we haven't seen them in for a while. Still have alot of faith in him, he looked class in most appearances but got lost today. He needs to a get used to the premier league.

Fuck sakes. We do know we don't have to wait until the last day to think about possible deals. Woefully unhappy about having to pit up with Simpson for another year.

Guidetti surely going out on loan somewhere?

Not a good enough window imo. It is not Bowyergate disastrous as we have added some quality youngsters. However we have weakened our attack and still need another quality full back. We are gambling big on the youngsters stepping up. Which was the boards eventual aim, however I don't think we are quite ready. Time will tell. The biggest problem with the window is how close we have been to adding real quality that could really push us up to the top 4/5. - The whole Carroll saga is ridiculous but not signing him isnt a problem, shipping out our 3rd/5th choice striker and not replacing them is a big problem. - Then there is the CB issue which was named by Pardew as being a priority this summer, wanting to find someone to score goals from the back, hasn't and isn't happening. - Finally being linked with Debuchy for 8 months, with both the club and player wanting the move to happen. Insane we haven't jumped on a player of his quality which would surely cement Cabayes long term future to the club. Bringing in youngsters is part of the mandate but we have not acquired any of the 3 targets we talked about before the window opened. The overhaul of the Academy and 9/10 new players never materialized either. my grade C- We will limp on to January, but lets hope (if we do qualify) Europe doesnt take too much of a toll before then.

West Ham agree fee in region of £15m with Liverpool for Andy Carroll

So basically completely pointless on Liverpool's behalf? Not completely pointless, they get to piss us off at least. -

Pretty happy with this.. until the window closes without us signing anyone. Then uber pissed off. -
Gaël Bigirimana rejoins Coventry on a permanent basis

Good experience for the academy teens, Satka having a great couple of weeks. All far too young to figure though, with the exception of maybe Campbell. -
Us not meeting their valuation is the only reason why this wouldn't happen. Well that and getting a replacement in. Think the deal is 50/50 at best. It is quite incredible this hasn't happened. When was he first linked?

said it in a few places already this morning, i don't think we struggled defensively yesterday it's in a creative sense where we struggled. Don't think we have been as flowing as we were at times under Hughton. Our defensive side is certainly better though. The sooner we can free up Cabaye the better. He and Tiote sat far to deep last year which made us hard to break down but relatively tame in creativity. Hatem looks like he is continuing where he left off. I worry a little about our creativity but we were closed down very effectively in a tight game against Chelsea, in games where there is more space we will do well. Our passing is decent but if we are to play two up top we need wingers that will cross, we need to change our wingers mindsets as they are more than capable. Back to the topic, I love how Anita gets back to link the defence to the attack, he always makes himself available. He will be a great player for us when he is settled. I remember Cabs looking the same early on, so I am less than worried.

This. Seems like a big step up, not sure that he would offer us anything different. I thought Rodriguez would have been a better bet, will be interesting to see how he does at Southampton. If we don't get Remy, with is practically a given I would still be very happy with Zaha. Make Liverpool sweat the Carrol situation out til January.

Would probably take Sturridge over Carroll tbf. Carroll might be a better fit and be more willing to prove himself though.
