Shola was dog shit when he came on though. All those Ronaldinho like flicks that either went to no-one or bounced back off his other leg. Shola is one of the worst players to bring off the bench when you need a goal because he's got absolutely no fucking urgency about him whatsoever. Should have started given his good form, got a goal, haul him off after an hour. i agree. would've been better to bring ranger on than shola--or FOR shola (after starting) at the hour mark.

today reminds me of that saying, "hard work beats talent when talent doesn't work hard." derby were crap our lads knew it & acted like they deserved 3 pts b/c we're top of the league & at fortress SJP. they left it 'til the last minute to put in an effort 2nd half, and then undid themselves with thoughtless football. we only needed 1 goal against these clowns & just the tiniest bit of effort and creativity would've done it. 2 pts dropped.

where is our hustle? where do we get off thinking we can stroll to 3 pts against poorer sides? this lack of heart & motivation is infuriating!!!
