It´s quite possible that Watford leak out this info to try and better the options we are negotiating with them. It is very beleivable as Everton are about to receive 60 million for the teenage junky lookalike.

I kind of think he has a bad injury, the club are not disclosing it so that we are not held to ransom (even more than present) on a striker purchase.

I think what we need most is the benfica tsriker we were linked with, he can play across the front line and has goals in him and is a feisty presser... Seems right up our street! Paqueta would also be great. just hope he lives up to the hype we have all helped to accentuate...

Manu are selling a minority share because some of the other persons in the Glazer family want out. Seems like the brothers, Abel andCane/Ashley & Mike, or whatever they are called, are not interested in selling and would like to continue in their positions and exploit further their leveraged money cow. It does seem like Manu have their own version of the same parasite we had. I have absolutely no shame in saying that I am enjoying their fall from grace after so many years of their arrogant existence.

I thought he looked hesitant/ nervous, kind of catching up with the pace of the prem when defending/reading, but didnt look like making any errors either. decent at passing, but prefer it on the deck as his long balls were not zeroed in tbh. Good first game, will take him a few to get up to speed.

First half was very even. Second half they pushed a little higher and pressed and played really well in the middle, they were helped by their 343 formation which allowed them to press higher. We had no impact subs and it showed. We could only hang on for the point. Maxi was awful today, back to his frustrating self. Calum seemed to struggle and was isolated too much, he put up a good fight though! Miggy was great in first half and lost it in second. Far too weak when on any 50/50 challenge. Trippier just does not seem at 100% yet, his defending was woeful today. Botman was hesitant but solid, too early to judge. Burn and Schar very good, another 8/10 from each. our midfield three tried hard but were outnumbered and outplayed for the majority of the match. Bruno getting caught with the ball too often. VERY GOOD AWAY POINT!!!
