  1. If Wolves do is a favour that table going into Christmas is fucking beautiful. must not forget that we’ve also played City and Chelsea at home and Liverpool, Man U and Spurs away in our first 15 games. Also what on paper are tricky away games at Brighton and Southampton. other than Arsenal away there’s a nice little run of games on the restart as well
  2. Get Bournemouth infront and the whole league table has a fantastic look atm
  3. Didn't he miss at home to Wolves when we finished 5th and the boos rung out?
  4. I reckon Man U lose to Fulham on Sunday. We could be 7 clear of 5th going into the break. That would be massive and we have a great chance to restart more quickly than most of the challengers for top 4 due to less players being at the World Cup. I am beginning to hear a lot of Champions League themes as ringtones down Northumberland Street.....
  5. Definitely play Lascelles, for what he did pulling people together post relegation and first season back up I'd love to see him lift the league cup for us this year.
  6. The way Miggy plays you’d expect him to get at least one chance every game. even before this season he was getting opportunities but just failed to take them. if his lucky boot keeps working he could be close to 20 goals by the end of the season
  7. Well seeing as we are guaranteed to be top 4 at Christmas we are definitely in contention come January
  8. That’s top 4 guaranteed for Christmas isn’t it?
  9. wimp. i went out and got pissed, watched Bellamy send us onto dream land in Holland (from the Student Union), pulled a cracking Irish girl the day I fractured my eye socket playing in goal. Then was back between the sticks the following week
  10. We could realistically be third and 5 points off first by then end of tomorrow. if Villa pull off a new manager win it would also guarantee that we are top 4 at Christmas. mental!
  11. There's a special place in hell reserved for Keepers who wear tracksuit bottoms
  12. As a keeper tucked in white socks, always white socks. Proper Pavel Srnicek over here
  13. Look t at his face then look at the Westie's face. One of them is dinner tonight, and I don't fancy Fido's chances
  14. Its often said that this club is like a juggernaut once the momentum builds and everyone pulls in the same direction. Add to your list the likes of Wor Flags and the crowd as a whole, coupled with the general feeling of something special brewing in the City and you get that huge sense of everyone pulling together. Of course the opposite is true when we are fragmented and on a downturn, it takes a lot to stop the rot.
  15. 3 of those were away as well
  16. imagine (or rather don’t) his photo after he plays and wins
  17. Wherever the league takes us I’d love to win a cup this year to give the likes of Lascelles a fitting send off. having said that I had a feeling back with Bobby that our first trophy since the dinosaurs was going to be the Champions League and maybe this will still be the case next year…
  18. The bench is big enough to stick in on it even if there is no intention to play him. Put some doubt into Villa's mind and get ASM back into the match day squad. Pretty much what Howe did with Shelvey
  19. This is fun https://www.football365.com/news/liverpool-bottom-premier-league-table-arsenal-top-manchester-united-third On top of the points swing we conceded 26 goals last season vs 9 this season in the comparative games. Also suggests that Arsenal really are the real deal and not just repeating good results from last season. (oh and Liverpool snigger)
  20. if he leaves it’s to Real Madrid. really can’t see him going to another premier league team, ever!
