Nah, he came, did some pirouettes, clobbered Joe Cole, lost a last man standing game against Arsenal earned a few quid and left, he was happy with that. fyp fyfyp -

Merino and then the obvious Ben Arfa. I'd also add Ginola to that list Edit obv more than a seasons games but still far too few -
Prompted by my 3 year old breaking his second metatarsal yesterday - but whatever happened to the good old metatarsal injury that was widespread in the mid 00's? It seemed likely that it was the sock type lightweight boot that gave rise to these, but you weren't a professional footballer in the run up to a major championship if you didn't break one for a little while, now you never hear of anyone having them. Better boots?

That alone pretty much sums up life as an NUFC supporter. Mike doesn't even give us our BFH though -
To be fair we'd be celebrating it if it was NUFC being engraved on the crust tonight. Like when we went down to the Championship, the general tone throughout the season was that we shouldn't celebrate winning the league as it was an embarrassment to be there. You might not be proud to be in a position to win it, but if you are then you may as well enjoy whatever good comes from it

I’m as doom & gloom as most but if we win (yes I know) our game in hand there’s only 2 points between us and them and we play them soon. They are in a good position but doubt they are safe yet But if we win our game in hand then it stops Brighton picking up 3 points. It's a combination of the number of teams beneath them and them being 5 clear of us that imo now males them safe

Burnley probably safe now, 1 from 3 realistically

Completely forgot about Dyer! Peacock was in and out a few times, even tried a back 5 but then had to lose one of Cole or Beardsley -

I'm going to take you all on with an English XI (Premier League era only) - and I'll even allow Shearer to remain in the World XI seeing as pretty much everyone has selected him Harper Watson Woodgate Lascelles Beresford Batty Lee Clark Beardsley Ferdinand Cole Darlow Peacock Barton Sellers Nolan Beardsley Shola Elliott -
Quinn was just average, not the worst we've had by any stretch

Awesome, Shelvey and Charnley had me spitting out my drink

Maybe unpopular opinion time but I'd rather have kept Perez than have used his sale money to buy ASM (obviously If we could have both...)

My perfect nomadic career. Start at 18, 6-8 2 year contracts at different clubs in 6-8 different leagues. Retire at 30-34, coaching badges and move to management. Fuck all security from injury but a hell of an experience

And lost to West Brom, Palace and drew with Burnley. They've got 2 'W's pinned to their fixtures (us and Sheff Utd), the rest of their games you wouldn't put any money on them winning

It's going to be shitfest between us, Brighton and Burnley with none oof us looking like we actually want to get any more points on the board. Shocking state of affairs when 8 points from the last 9 games (5 from 8 for Burnley) and a total of 35 is probably going to keep someone up Fulham could end up with anything from 3 points to 9 points before they play us, they've got a splattering of teams who are prone to phoning it in when there is nothing to play for. Still think if we are above Brighton by the time we play City then we'll stay up
-
I've done that AC cameo, only I did it better and got myself a yellow for my foul
-
With today's results would a poo tomorrow along with a Fulham loss be a decent weekend? I still think Burnley are in the mix but if we lose tomorrow then today's point is massive for them.

They're both in the top 10% of players in the premier league who played in their positions
