Got to say - i thought the Ultras were absolutely brilliant tonight. Like i've said elsewhere, i've got little to compare it to, but i thought they were great. I was in that South East corner (directly above the corner flag, i'm hoping i got on TV ), and they generated a great atmosphere.

He's playing left-back though in all fairness, can't really expect him to be doing a whole lot more going forward. Number of times I've seen him beat a man but because it's generally the RW of the other team it's not getting him into a telling position, as there's still another line of defence to be beaten. Once he's in a more advanced role he'll be in much better position to do something when he does beat his man, which he'll do frequently. Epitomised his Villa performance. Beat his first man, then lost his way when he had to run on another 20 yards/2 players than usual. Can't wait to see him back at left-wing.

Wenger's said that he can go if he wants, on several occassions. I'd take him, but only on loan with an option-to-buy clause. I don't rate him that highly at the moment but the potential's there and he might do well... It's not a bad option. Hoyte on loan is a more attractive offer than Johnson for £3/4m.
