It's very much Americanization of the sport. Remove the competitive edge, regard it as entertainment, be happy that it's cheap. It's all unfolding and it's fucking tragic.
-
They're brilliant. Take away the club and what it's been about for the past 15 years, the former players in the media etc. - they're fucking fantastic to watch. This is what you get when you do a bit of forward-thinking. Getting the most innovative forward-thinking manager in the country, sign players to fit the purpose and show ambition to keep the best of them (Suarez). It's not fucking rocket science.

Liverpool will win it. They're more hungry than the rest, confident and comfortable in the way they play and as a team, they're better than the rest of them. Individually, City and Chelsea are better but they're not as fluid and well balanced. Liverpool pick everything apart. I think they'll beat Chelsea and City at Anfield. Rodgers is a fucking genius.

Benfica 3 - 1 Newcastle United - 04/04/13 - post-match reaction from page 62

Our game-plan in the 2nd leg was the worst approach I've seen from a manager of NUFC. Pardew The Coward summed up. Destroy the game for 65 minutes, then go for it. Bigirimana RM. (Could've worked if Hatem had scored just before they won it though, still shit mentality mind) -
Rolando Aarons has looked good from what I've seen.
-
Their pundit: "Worse than Maradona. If there's any justice in the world, this will finish 94-1 to Chelsea now."
-
Can they force him to attack in 2nd halves? Play Ben Arfa for the rest of his career?

http://www.svenskafans.com/image/7/428280/Follow-the-Money-Del-2-Affordable-Football.jpg Shearer making it 2-1 was about as excited I've ever been about a football game, goal or anything else in life for that matter. Surreal. Seems distant now.

We could be deadly with Remy-LDJ-HBA up front. Gouffran/Sissoko are Pardew's favourite players and both have done well in their respective positions this season.
-
We got worse that game after Perch came on. Shola was right-mid. Williamson's worst game ever.

Suarez biting and Pardew headbutting are not expressions of wider issues like Terry/Suarez/Anelka's racist antics. The FA and media are using very strange angles to tackle these questions. The witch-hunt seems more important than the core issue. Biting and head-butting does not represent wider issues, issues that are spreading on political and societal levels at this moment in time. Racism etc. are. Suspending Suarez for ten games after biting Ivanovic and doing something similar to Pardew - fine with me. But there seems to be a very transparent lack of direction and understanding of the different contexts'. In my opinion, they're sending an unclear message to the Premier League audience if biting and head-butting is regarded as more offensive than racist and anti-semitic actions. Head-butting, biting and other types of violence will always occur as the sport is full of adrenalin and pressure. There's no excuse for neither of those actions, but the reprecussions will not bare any significant impact on generations to come. People will head-butt again. However, racism in all shapes and forms, whether it's islamophobia, anti-semitism or homophobia, can gain access to football and really get a foothold if it's not treated correctly. The Premier League must not become a platform for those ideas, and there is a risk on evidence of what's going on in Southern and Eastern Europe.

Just read an article on the world's last existing tribes. He's on the right. http://www.boredpanda.org/system/wp-content/plugins/copyrightWrapper/watermark.php?display=true&image=http://www.boredpanda.org/system/wp-content/uploads/2013/11/photographs-of-vanishing-tribes-before-they-pass-away-jimmy-nelson-26__880.jpg

Attack him with science, it seems to work.

One of a kind, Caulkin.

Find it ridiculous how they a) took two months to conclude things and b) let him off the hook by saying he's not done anything intentionally anti-semitic yet convicted him of carrying out a gesture they deem to be "abusive" and a "reference to an ethnic group". How the fuck does that add up?
-
We're only going to see him for brief spells. I wonder if he'll ever start for us again. Fucking Pardew man.

Absurd. And they left Nasri out

I'm impressed by the club now. I see why we don't replace players, coaches or attract new sponsors. This PR machinery must be 100 full-time employees. 1. Compensate for lack of ambition with affordable football - i.e. reduce the price on football as a product 2. Claim loan to be interest-free, advertise SD instead, money directly to Ashley's pocket (that's what they mean by structure). 3. Say we can't attract commercial partners in order to sign players, when the real reason is nobody wants to be there alongside SD, and Ashley doesn't want anyone else there. 4. Adjust figures to claim "profit", which basically means we've not invested this year either. Bravo. The masses won't understand.

Shoring shit up yet again, master at what he does.

Cissé on the wing again is hilarious

But why would lowering prices reduce our costs? And why would he want to minimise money coming in? In this case it's to keep attendances high. I'm quite certain this is a move to keep people happy because, while the football being s***, it's still "affordable" - which is the main concern of his customers, whoever they may be. He treats Newcastle United supporters like Sports Direct customers. The main draw, in his world, is low pricing and good deals. He's now trying to compensate for the lack of sporting progress with at least making football "affordable". Revenue at Newcastle United doesn't seem to interest him, it's all about keeping things to a minimum and use it as a platform for SD. He only needs the income in order to cover the lower and lower costs. The TV deals will cover most of that, it's gone from 30% to 60% of our entire revenue. Oh right, I understand all that, you just seemed to be saying he was deliberately lowering matchday revenue for some reason other than attracting fans. No, not at all. He just doesn't need it as the club's being ran on low costs, so he can afford to give it away to soften the critique. This has been the mantra since the back end of last season when Llambias came out with something similar to justify our low ambition. We're s***, but don't complain, because we're affordable and stable.

The lowering of prices is another move in his contraction of our finances. Lowering all costs, minimize all need for revenue in order to keep the club ticking over without any big money going in or out. Sports Direct get free advertising as we don't need other deals to cover any costs. What frightens me the most is the calculated PR-activities to mislead everyone. I've said it before, the way he's a) exploiting the blind loyalty of supporters b) treating football as a discounted product c) wrapping the experience of Newcastle United in everything but sporting success ...is kind of fascinating in all it's atrociousness. Our "outsourcing" project in France is also perfectly in line with the way he built SD.

We're setup for a fucking implosion if Ashley's still here.

How the fuck is this moronic mess even possible. Nothing but ashamed.
