Mike Ashley. Champion of the little man.

My bad, I'll admit my biases against scousers are based primarily football based so I've no doubt you're sound if you escaped that for NUFC fandom. That being said, we all seemed to hate AG when we came up against him for Everton because he seemed such a snide little prick so I assume other clubs feel the same, and he probably didn't help that with his tantrum at being subbed last season. But he seems to have kept his intensity whilst being a shit ton more professional and likeable under Eddie which will take time for people that don't regularly watch us to see as the norm.

It's not all that surprising tbh, and where it becomes more of a popularity contest when it's a league wide vote. While he's gone a long way to doing so, I'm guessing AG will take a little while longer to shake his undesirable scouse scallywag tag to the wider public. Whereas Isak has been quality for us twice as long, is cool as fuck and already being tapped up by the southern press for the Sky Six so he's the one outsiders will mostly hear about.

Must be pretty cool to suddenly get thrown to the front of the promotional material when you've not even played for the club. Maybe some time integrating with the squad will do him some good.

It's particularly weird how these awards are always so out of step considering pretty much the entire football world would probably agree that 'young' in football is typically U21s. I can't keep up anymore. Are reserve leagues/teams still primarily considered U23s? Did such awards change alongside those going from U21 to U23?

Tonight was an honour.

Aside from my disdain for Real, Bellingham is such a great personality. Such a level-headed interview when your mind must be in overdrive. Fuck wearing shirts celebrating a 15th CL before the final though. The club as a whole remain wankers.

'ready' to leave just makes me feel like we're kicking a puppy again. As if we've worn him down after trying to punt him off to Saudi in the winter.

Is that our Sean in that lineup? Just googled to see if there's a Leeds-related Longstaff I've never heard of and it appears rumours of them being interested in Sean bypassed me in March. Has Ferrell even indicated he's going to start piling transfer war chest-levels of money in, anyway?

Bit defensive. Bet you'd give up a ton of set piece goals in a PL defence, you.

I don't follow the Championship a whole lot but all I ever saw were plaudits for the job he was doing for them or am I wrong?

Their delusions of grandeur that inevitably lead to their own downfall never fails to amuse. What was their issue with Mowbray again? Playoffs not good enough?

This. Obviously it can get grating when it crops up on the forum, but it's really not worth giving serious attention to. It's very much a minority. Hell, he could win us a trophy and after the euphoria dies down I'm confident there'll still be at least a couple of people saying 'right but can he do it again? I'm not so sure, I hope we've got a plan B ready just in case' .

Us somehow managing to end up in the driver's seat for 6th with the season we've had is terrifying me in its own right. Similar to last season tbh, even if slightly lower stakes.

https://www.premierinjuries.com/injury-table.php has Martinez, Varane, Shaw, Martial, Rashford, Lindelof, Evans, McTominay and Fernandes back by the time they face us. Obviously it's just an aggregator of the latest news and some of those may not make it. But it's pretty well-updated as evidenced by how quickly I've seen them change ours whenever our players get setback after setback.

Is Shteve okay? He looked as lost as the players on the sideline there. As funny as fuck as this is, I'd be lying if I said I wasn't more than a little pissed off Palace get this Man U while they expect nearly an entire new XI to be fit before our match.
-
I guess it's not that weird but it feels wrong to have completely forgotten by full time that he was there available on the bench. I can obviously understand if he's thinking about one last shot at the Euros squad but feels pretty far fetched. Hadn't Southgate already been leaving him out for a while before his injury? Didn't appear he was set to be part of their plans even when fit so I can't see him squeezing his way back in on the back of a maximum of three games.

Can we revoke the new contract? He's now forever tainted.

Bloody Paully. Love how Bruno just seems to have stocked up on every possible shirt in our history for his family. I swear they're always rocking a different one.

Apparently Roy Keane thinks he might get even more credit in a few years once he's gone. Is this utter wankathon three hours out from them kicking off a nothing match now they're out of the title race not enough? Jesus Christ.

We really need a fucking orchestra for this gurning cunt?
-
Yup. I personally can't shake the feeling that if he was trusted earlier he would've been up to speed earlier but it's speculation that will never be proven either way and not worth the energy debating at this point. The important thing is that the lad's officially arriving, Eddie's began to trust him and I'm delighted for him.

Woof. W1 D4 L13 in the past 20 years. I'll hope for a draw at least but it probably doesn't help that West Ham don't particularly have much to play for. Think that'll play an even bigger part considering the widely held view that these could be Moyes's last few games which could make it even harder for them to get truly motivated.
