    Football pet hates

Your stupid fractional odds. Decimal odds are much better and easier to understand.
  2. They were free, and decided to go back?!?
  3. I'd love a cheaper streaming service of the PL where I don't have to pay for a lot of channels I never watch.
  4. It's not crap though. At this point we are better off than last year. Whether it lasts is up for debate / probably unlikely, but at the minute it's a fact. That doesn't mean Bruce is a better manager, just that we are doing better at present. And there lies the annoyance. While it may be a fact we've got more points than this stage last season, as you say that doesn't make Bruce a better manager. IMO merely quoting the 'Got more points' sentence suggests we're in better hands than under Rafa. We've got more points but this club IS NOT better off since the summer. It's a short sighted view to suggest we are. How can you accuse me of being short sighted when I've actually said it's unlikely to last? That's part of the problem now people aren't allowed to judge anything in a positive way ever. The evidence is above with people claiming more points is irrelevant. Its not, its (however temporarily it may be) better. Ignore he bigger picture, we've got points. Thanks for proving my point in bold. There's none stopping you from judging anything in a positive or negative way but remember that this is a discussion forum. People might have different opinion than you however weird that may sound to you.
  5. The way Everton were diving, pretending to be injured, wasting time was ridiculous. Well done Leicester!
  6. Soyuncu > Maguire so far this season.
  7. Everton should get an emmy for this performance.
  8. I fucking love watching Vardy
  9. Sorry but thats horseshit. There was no fluke in 2012. The football was good and to try and claim otherwise now is revisionist crap. What came after was bad, but we played good football that year and the 433 was about more than individual players. I remember us beating Villa on Cisse's debut with Obertan Guthrie Perch Jonas as the midfield and still carrying a threat. We were difficult to beat and with Ba 1st half of the seaon and Cisse 2nd half every chance seemed to result in a goal. The 4-3-3 only lasted for 10 matches or so until....Wigan? We got spanked at least, and Pardew went straight back to basics 4-4-2.
  10. When you want the club to do well it does bad when you want it to do bad it does well. Can't win with this shit, so fucking fed up I just want Ashleys bad decisions to finally come crashing down on him hard so we can get the club back. Still can't comprehend how there can be 49k imbeciles gladly rimming Ashley every other week. So we got a decent result, wahey, it won't ever get any better than this.Spineless, dumb, ignorant pieces of shits.
  11. - 0-4 loss - Media and Donnay army: "at least Bruce had a go" - Official stats: Less shots at goal and possession than Rafa last season - This forum:
  12. The fist pump by Pardew at the end like it was his master plan that led to the goal brings me back to the ground after watching some HBA magic.
  13. Too little time for my slow brain. 12 :/ Would have gotten a few more if I could have mulled over it for 2 more minutes.
  14. 25 years old. Hardly a young talent at that age unless your name is Shola Ameobi.
  15. You mean apart from the fact he’s much better on the left than right? He isn’t suited to playing as a inverted right winger how Bruce can’t see that is worrying. He should switch Almiron & Saint-Maximin or at least have them swapping sides during the game. Most of Saint-Maximin’s goals&assists in France came from the right too. The only reason Maximin is playing on the left is because he’d rather spend the game coming inside and doing 99999 unproductive step-overs while Bruce pats him on the back and Lee Ryder gives him a 10/10 match rating The front 3 is basically being played how Saint-Maximin would play it on FIFA. Ah, so it's Saint-Maximins vanity, Ryders low standards and Bruce's stupidity that is conspiring together to keep Almiron down that is hindering him controlling a ball becasue he's incapable of doing anything productive on the right side of a football field. Duly noted.
  16. Don't see why that should be the case, or even how you can be so certain of that. The main problem to me seems that he's too wide and isolated. Not that he's on the "wrong" side.
  17. God damnit, you stole my post! I'd switch #1 and #2 though.
  18. Don't see what the big deal is about him playing left of right. Most wingers are inverted these days. If anything it should make it easier for him to score. Almiron would perform just as good on the right under Rafa as on the left imo. His game was never to cross from the left anyway.
  19. No return date on physioroom. Latest update from yesterday: Nov 25: "He seen a specialist and he said to give him another rest. We will see what happens in the next couple of weeks but at the moment he is still not ready."

    Joelinton

Doesn't matter who's up top the way the team is set up. When the ball is hoofed up to the striker the central midfield is usually right outside our own box. The wingers are a bit further up, but almost hugging the touch line. The striker will have 3 or more opposition players to fend off. We'd need a striker that possesses the strength and hold up play of Shearer combined with the dribling of Messi and pace of Vardy to make it work.
  21. Put in El Ghazi only for this fixture which was a nice added bonus to end off a decent game week Top 3 are Norwegians now. Time to step it up brexitnoobs.
  22. So far he's been like a Gutierrez without end product, however weird that sounds
