  1. To be honest after monday nights highs yesterdays just kicked the shit out of everybody the emotional fall has just been to great. Do i want us to get result we need at Villa and Manure to beat Hull? Of course do I have any faith that we will? No
  2. The rest to stay on as squad players. Duff 90K per week Smith 60K Viduka 70K Coloccini 50K R Taylor 30K Very heathly wage structure for squad players...just add Owen there! Hardly any of the current Championship clubs have a total wage budget of these "squad players" of ours If we go down which looks very likely now...we're going to need a total clearout both in the players and staff(except Big Al). With this level of commitment and work rate they showed today we're not coming back too soon either I guess Your figures are speculative and probably inflated by the media. I'm also fairly sure I read that all clubs have to have relegation clauses in their contracts, so they wouldn't be on premiership wages anyway. Also, Viduka's contract is just about up. I'm sure even in the championship we can afford to offer him more than he'd be on in Australia. Fairly sure i read somewhere none of our players have relegation clauses in contracts tbh can see only Nolan and RTaylor still being here come the start of next season Forgot about Shola how could I
  3. Bit of a non story really of course hes going to be unhappy would be worried if he wasnt. Personally just think hes out of form at the moment hes been playing in a side creating nothing for him and confidence looks totally shot at the moment if we had played like last night more often or he had stuck away the Pompey chance could be a totally different picture. Has mentioned when Big Al took over happy to stay if he remains manager and whatever happens with Owen i think hes going to have to accept a drastic pay cut and if we do stay up may be worth a new short time deal maybe a similar pay as you play deal its been reported Celtic are considering.
  4. Fans sounded and looked fantastic tonight players can see how it can be hope the fuck they want more of that vs Fulham
  5. We cant give up the ghost if we the fans do then what chance that the bunch of overpaid prima donnas in black and white will also. Win the two home games and we are safe lets make sure we dont give the players the opportunity to give up by making St James a cauldron of noise for them.
  6. Who actually called for Keegan to be appointed again though? I really can't remember many people if any at all. Hindsight is a wonderful thing I know, but it now just looks like a ploy to try and cash in from the fans. Sure, I don't remember there being a big demand for Keegan's return - possibly because most people assumed that he had retired from the game completely. But it was a strange gesture to appoint someone whose appetite for the game was clearly very brittle, and who had left his two previous jobs under a cloud. I think Ashley saw Keegan as someone who would get the fans onside and who would be given the time to turn things around. Anyone other than Keegan or Shearer would have faced a lot of pressure after a few defeats. On the same tone, you can see now that Shearer is being cut a lot of slack. After one goal and one point from four games, other managers would be coming in for a lot more stick. Ultimately, the owners should be strong enough to resist that kind of pressure. They have to take the responsibility. Would hold true at most clubs but the press seem to make a bigger deal of it with Newcastle fans which in turn breeds resentment towards us. When Allardyce was sacked a lot of people up here made a big thing about him not being given enough time by the fans but really the standard or sub standard football had to be seen to be believed, even now its hard to believe how bad we where and i still think that the second half of the season would have saw us plummet down the table ala Hull City. That said too many managers sacked at wrong time not enough stability gives other fans the opportunity to clamber upon their high horses.
  7. Well she can F**k right off her services are gonna be needed a little down the road. We can win last two home games been mentioned before Portsmouth came to draw and set up shop to do it. Boro and Fulham will be different games. Lets see what the Mackems can muster against Everton Bolton Porstmouth and Chelski after the hammering West Brom gave them at the weekend
  8. We've got to believe what else can we do? Its an old cliche but lets just look at one game at a time Portsmouth up next lets win that one and push on we've done it before got to believe we can again.
  9. FFS playing Suicide is Painless during the break on Shanghai Sports
  10. Wonder if this is all part of the wonderful ' five year plan'
  11. 1988-89 last two months where particularly horrible. Feels like history repeating itself think the apathy could reach an all time low after the run of home games weve got coming up. We've fallen a lot further this time.
  12. YOu're wrong it's actually to bring about world peace. But I suppose you've got a gripe about that as well. Depends how they go about it to be honest. I believe NUSCs plan is to start in Iraq and they already have a banner made up with Abd ar-Rahman al-Haydari al Gillani out. Broadly they have my agreement as under Saddam Iraq was on a par with the big hitters in the region including Iran and Syria with foreign excursions aplenty. He may have led the country to the brink of bankruptcy chasing the dream of foreign annexation but there is no evidence that he would have led the country to a collapse similar to Yemen.
  13. Anybody but us after that i dont care as doubt Man U Chelski or Liverpool are in any danger. Secret longing for WBA to stay up.....but not at our expense.........try to play the right way at least.

To be honest i think that the w**ker was looking to give a decision against us to show how hard and unaffected he is from the Beye incident earlier in the season hes so f**king full of himself
  15. Struggling to get back to his best after injury and couldnt cut it when at his best for Blackburn. £4.5m mentioned on the beeb if we want a player to play the ball backwards and sideways we are better off prising Ray Wilkins back into the game. If I remember correctly left Rangers in the lurch for 2nd qualifying leg of Champions League to sign for Blackburn and left with his tail between his legs when Blackburn fighting relegation. Cracking signing
  16. Dont think we should be too negative i would think that we can take some positives from MOs statement. Maybe i am being a bit trusting but stating that he is willing to accept a cut in wages could well be an attempt to silence the media rather than tart himself to Villa.
  17. Maybe they have taken on board whats been said on here and elsewhere and the organisation evolved a little bit from its beginnings. Heartening to see the start of some dialogue as if we are not sold its neccssary will be interesting to see what the boards/ashleys response is if anything.
  18. Not been mentioned but gotta be said.......wouldnt have lost at SOS under the old board.
  19. Goal No. 2: Avoid a team that's too tortured. Already went down that road with the Sox. Once was enough. Bet you wish you had listened to him
  20. After following the arguments on why we should join NUSC very disappointed to find that its just another one trick pressure group after reading that statement.
