Nice to see we are trying to move forward, im pretty sure Souness tried the same tactic using Dyer and Luque cutting in from the right and left...maybe's thats the way to get Luque to perform although im not suggesting playing a formation simply to accomodate Luque. Mind if i had to put my mortgage on one of our players picking out a pass Solano would be the man of choise. I went to Carlisle and it was quite refreshing to see us trying different things although im not so keen on Martins playing on the left but Barton was a monster in the centre untill he got hurt.

When i look at the players they are signing i cant help but think that its gonna be a very good squad at championship level but quite weak in the prem.

We have a billionaire in charge of the club now, look at WHU and CFC if they go to sign a player the fee goes up but 2-3 mill id be willing to bet. Yes other clubs know we have money but lets not keep shouting about it a reminding people, lets go about our business quietly and more importantly carefully.

Good player, great potential but not ready yet....maybes a couple of sub apperances during freindlies to get him used of the senior set-up but thats about it for now.

Poor decision imo, im not saying that Sheff Utd deserve to be in the premiership nut its done nothing but scream out that money talks in this league, i bet clubs like chelsea will look at this and think, ah we will only have to pay a fine !!

I thik we will have a good mix, we need experiene and these players will give us it whilst still have a good few years in them yet. Hopefully our acadamy will kick out a few gems and bring a couple of good youth players in to compliment these and we should be spot on.

I know prices are inflated now but this fee really is daft. Imagine what Shearer in his prime would be worth in todays market !!
