Never been convinced of him. He doesn’t have the presence you need. Didn’t really see any of his famed distribution tonight either. Meh.

Could easily see our performance dropped around the hour mark. Should’ve made changes then. No issue with the wide players but JL7 should’ve come off too. No blame in starting Miley, got to sooner of later. Not Eddie’s fault Miley was a bit of a non event as it turned out. Spurs were braver than us at the end. Thought at the time going 5 at the back would give them too much opportunity. Oh well. Poo.

His passing out of defence can be a bit loose. We overlook that be a of his defending. He switched off at a key moment today though.

Thought he was ok, but didn’t really do anything with the ball. The difference between the desire of Bruno to influence the game compared to Miley was massive. If Willock had played like that I’d of thought that was back to normal for him and if it was Ramsey I’d be wondering why we bought him.

Thought he was very good 1st half at doing what he does. After 60 mins his performance fell off a cliff. Can’t believe he stayed on.

When you watch that goal again, the state of Everton’s back line…….dear me. How do let a CF jog forward with no one near him. Right down the middle too. We’d be spitting feathers.

Was better than Murphy doing the short infield stuff. Also had Mylenko under manners.

I’ve said I think that’s a good combo but Miley has to do a bit more defensively to be a starter at 6 imo. Not saying he hasn’t got it him long term but we need to see more bite. Use his size more in shoulder to shoulder contact. Made some nice tackles and sneaky ball steals today. Baby steps.

Did well. Thought it was him hammer fisting it away rather than Barnes clearing it.

Defended very well which is his first job. Magic on the ball too. Want him to take the Trippier mantle and become a FB playmaker.

Yeah. Should’ve been a tough game for him up against those 2 but he looks like he’s adapting. Some great touches and passes and a fantastic finish.

Got his foot in with some good tackles. That will help his cause more than his range of passing now.

Happy for Elanga to get an assist. He had a decent game. Bruno was probably the pick of our bunch. Thought JL7 was a bit of passenger until after the 70 (ish) min mark. He comes alive then. Defence was good except Tino switching off for their goal (Dewsbury-Halls control and finish was exceptional btw). Miley was very good. Barnes looked bright and on it. Wolt looked like the rest did him good. Thought we could’ve made our subs a little earlier.

Just want to see us outfootball someone rather on relying on outrunning them.

I think Everton have less of the ball than us, statistically. Given that, could be an idea to have Ramsey in for JL if we’re going to have most of the ball. If they’re going to largely try to attack us on the counter or in transitions perhaps having players better at passing or carrying successfully through the lines would serve us better? Not sure Miley is an option in Eddie’s mind so haven’t included him as an option.
