  1. That "wee Phillie" twat man. Even has the FTM on that outfit but he's a DJ in the Newcastle he hates so much. Fk him and them.
  2. Wondering the same. I gave mine up after Rafa went but have since got it back. My daughter who went with me from being 3 yr old to about the age of 23 also chucked it. Would be good to go back together in happier times with a club with vision for a change. ST holders get 1st option to buy extra home match tickets so it's a possibility I suppose.
  3. The thought crossed my mind too. Was so awful it had to be deliberate.
  4. Hopefully he'll be one of those unaffected but this is NUFC after all. See you at the end of the month Chris.
  5. Yet he hates Newcastle so much he was and possibly still is spending every Saturday night as a DJ in cosy joes. Haven't been for a while. I'm getting on you know.
  6. You see? I'm not the only one. Posted December 5, 2021 "Joe Joe, Joe-J-Joe Joe, Joe-J-Joe Joe-linton" to the tune of no limits? Sounds better in my head than it looks written down ☺
  7. FA cup tie at home to Colchester has been switched to SJP this coming Monday. Might go along. ST holders for free. £3 adults otherwise.
  8. Don't mind him TBH. Generally like his videos and enthusiasm. Good to see him get excited by getting inside Forfars' ground and the likes.
  9. Sign Aarjen Robben then we can have Botman and Robben.
  10. Classic days, both those new years wins. Not heard that song for ages but it's a classic too. Got a mate who doesn't get out much these days due to ill health but when he did he would never fail to belt that song out once he got a few drinks down him.
  11. Showing myself to be an old man again here but when I were a lad MOTD only ever had one or 2 "feature" games each week. Even with a full fixture list. I used to always get a buzz as a kid when I would go down Barrack Rd on the bus and the BBC vans were parked up at SJP and we were one of the chosen ones.
  12. The "10 minute flag" in the Gallowgate corner? I was only a kid but think it regularly was taken down then signalling 10 mins left in games.
  13. I was at Bristol Rovers v Port Vale Tues night in a ground hopping capacity. Had 2 sent off, the 1st for an off the ball incident. Sure i've heard they've had about 7 sendings off this season. Not the most disciplined side.
  14. Used to love seeing those huge floodlight pylons with the lights beaming as the bus got nearer SJP on the way to a night game.
  15. I used to go on Keith's legendary trips too. Remember going to Zurich with them via Manchester. Game was Thurs night and didn't get back until Saturday morning after stopping for a lock in at Knottingley. There was hardly a bigger fan when he was going. Maybe John Alder (The undertaker) God rest his soul. Was talking to Keith when he was delivering to my work in his lorry a few years back. He was saying how he didn't even watch nufc on tele anymore and was a regular at South Shields which surprised me given how it's very split territory. Hadn't realised he was from there originally.

    Footy trivia

Fella gets on "total sport" every Thursday with a football question (guess with Graham). Usually I'm not too keen on it but quite enjoyed last nights. Question was: since the premier league began, can you name the 16 teams to have played in it with one word names? I was stumped on a couple like.
  18. Voted for the current one but the castle keep badge has a very nostalgic place in my heart. Suppose it was out in my early toon supporting years, although we were awful for most of those years. Was worn by KK in his 1st season so it wasn't all bad.
  19. Yip. Can see my, now ex points in my account. Heartbreakingly says 182 points manually removed☹
  20. Great stuff. Can remember coming from behind with 2 late goals to beat Fulham 3-2 on bonfire night in the 83/84 promotion season. Another bedlam inducing comeback.
  21. Most fans of other clubs aren't seriously bothered about about the politics of Saudi Arabia. They just don't like us and will beat us with any stick they can.
  22. Bit of an underwhelming 1st round draw. Marske/Gateshead home to Altrincham. York/Morpeth home to Kettering/Buxton. Good chance of progression I suppose.
  23. On my way over to watch Dunston today and got on the A1 at Westerhope. The Spurs team bus was stuck in the traffic on the northbound side. Bound for the luxury of Seaton Burn Travelodge no doubt.
  24. Carragher hit the bail on the head there when he said Ashley was happy for the club to just drift along.
