  1. Or Ashley could just sell up, someone with deep pockets will come in and we'll buy 25 purples.
  2. This still up for debate Shouldn't have done it, however shouldn't be getting the punishment or vitriol they are for it.
  3. ... and for those that say they work in business or some other customer relations capacity, being a twat and a jobsworth will lose you more money in the long run than the odd "allowance" or "leeway".
  4. Rattled. And a pretty s*** response at that, which makes them look even worse than the original article. Keep at it I say, please Ronny.. Best to have stayed quiet, at least before there was a doubt about her story in how many times he used it, but they just corroborated it and made themselves look worse. One word for this, perspective, a one off where common sense states a ticking off will do.
  5. I always wants us to win but imagine all the if we do. Cracks papered over: check, sheep back on side: check, Pardew gizza wave: check
  6. Hmm, what a shame for Swansea. Pardew's a stick-around kinda guy, they should snap him up on an extended contract!
  7. Now that this pissed up tramp has walked who are they going to attribute the shite written in the match day programme to?
  8. Fwiw as far as I have heard the only principal in use over jacking it in is it being the final nail in a coffin that looks like it's been riveted. People have been patient, more so than I ever remember, it's not a stand against the Mackem result, against Pardew, Kinnear or Ashley, it's not a stand against a flimsy transfer policy, against sponsorship deals and a transparent business plan. It's the culmination of the above, not being able to stomach the business of Newcastle Direct that we've turned into, not sure who said it but it was pertinent; where there's no ambition, there's no hope, where there's no hope, there's no point. We as fans have reached the lower depths of no point with this regime and their lack of ambition. What's so difficult about that to comprehend?
  9. One game, the stats would say. I thought we played some truly lovely stuff against Norwich, why he abandoned it against Sunderland I can't comprehend mind. Well done for trying to pick a hole in one point and ignoring the rest. 1 full game granted, but it's his go-to tactic when he's under pressure, Shola on... Hoof!
  10. I'd trade a derby win for beating Man U every season, forever, tbh. Why? I'd rather beat one of the game's really big teams than an average also ran any day of any week. I'm actually surprised that everyone doesn't feel that way tbh. I'm not from the area but I have an adopted hatred for Sunlun (Not just for my love of NUFC but because of some clown I used to work with who was canned for being a scrote!) and even I know the importance of beating the great unwashed over the (not so) mighty Man U. To suggest otherwise is insane, that match is not just about the football and has more meaning than just points and league position ffs.
  11. It's not as black and white as people judge him on is the problem, yes we're 8th, yes we've won a few "unwinable" games but the manner in which we play, the negative tactics, the hoofball, it's fucking unwatchable. I'll take my chances thanks, I hate this Pardball we're playing and I hate the fact we bottle it at home against weaker opposition. I could go on..
  12. This. I don't think there's any guarantees in football with managers, you could get a highly respectable manager who just can't cut it here or someone who's scoffed at who really kicks on with a club of our size. It's always a gamble getting in a new manager, whatever the credentials. Worrying that you might get worse than what you have is short termism IMO if the current manager can't do his job properly.
  13. Sorry to be a grammar nazi TU but it should state he has no regard or an owner that disregards, either is fine and other than that the email seems fine and to the point.
  14. One of two things here, he's looking to sell up (please be true, please be true) or either he or Pardew will be in charge of transfers from now on!!!
  15. Last line was probably : ' You have a butt that won't quit ' ' but it's about time I do ' ' cuz at my job I'm shit '
  16. It just stinks of reactive press to me, Ashley must have got wind of the season ticket dip by now. Another PR stunt to keep the masses mildly satisfied, as much as I hate Kinnear he's an easy scape goat. Still 1 down 2 to go but I don't believe this is anything but papering over the cracks. Honestly if it was about not getting Cabella then I'm pretty sure Ashley could have stepped in at any time to get it over the line.
  17. Payments for next season start this month, this season is paid for so it doesn't affect it. Loads will renew in the summer. probably although, while stating the obvious, it will all depend how we finish the season, when pardew resorts to hoofball and we get a few humpings then the current bad feeling isn't going to go away anytime soon.
  18. I'm not reading that s****, he can't even spell Newcastle right. So much on there my head is spinning. It's like the guy's prepubescent.

    Papiss Cissé

Wait for the "we beat away several offers for Papiss over the transfer window, Cisse is integral to our team and did everything we could to keep hold of him." Along with a spattering of "like a new signing." Thanks Joe, you're a diamond!
  20. Absolutely to those that have cancelled, I don't live in the area but have stopped any revenue going into the club, merchandise etc since the Wonga ordeal (I bought every kit up until then) I have also stopped going in SD and would rather pay a premium at JD than put any more money in his coffers. I know it must be hard on you guys and I absolutely respect you for that! Reading a lot over the internet since the Cabaye debacle and it seems like this has more legs on it than I anticipated. My only hope is that in the unlikely event we beat Chelsea it'll get brushed under the carpet again as we "do it for mike".
  21. Premier league teams no longer need to be successful to be shown around the world, we're almost at saturation point with TV exposure, that's all he needs. It doesn't benefit him for us to have worldwide fans, merely global exposure for his shitty brand. Ergo (I love an ergo) us simply existing in the top tier is his only requirement. You're right in suggesting no one wants to deal with him in business as they know he fleeces the market, he will only sell NUFC if he did it for a song. Our only hope is to somehow, some way bring him (in regards to NUFC) to his knees, if he wants out enough, really wants out, our best chance is him accepting a break even offer. If we manage to make it worthless to him or risk him losing money/face he will sell up acceptably, as it stands we're worth more to him than any potential buyer would be willing to pay.

    George Caulkin

Amazing piece by Caulkin again, sums it up in its entirety and kudos for getting his rightful dig at the lot of them and not allowing Pardew exception from blame. Love the guy, his writing is spot on very time.

    George Caulkin

Damnit!! I missed the blog, any other links? I know he's usually happy about it being shared by other means
  24. Let's ignore the fact he can't pick a team/beat teams below us at home/formulate any kind of sustainable tactics/get a team hyped up for a derby at home. Yes poor little Pardew and those nasty men above him that keep taking his toys away, of which he isn't complicit.... Honest!
