Not entirely true, most of our football clubs are as old as any professional football club in England. Sydneysiders are a bit different, though. No offence sydneycove. I had a quick look and most I saw seemed to be founded around the 40s/50s? Sorry, was thinking of the big sports in oz- rugby league and Australian football. They're mostly late nineteenth / early twentieth century. (Association) football here just doesn't have the same support and wouldn't survive as a professional sport without Frank Lowy.

Posted by Masterplan, isn't he on here as someone? Is Wireside a mag in disguise? Because I'm sorry, he can't be serious.

Looking towards his post-football career and a job in the magedia. He'd be quality on TV, tbh.

We don't all star at a young age.

He was 50/1 in Oz a couple of weeks back. I put the last 88c in my sportsbet account on it... -

2-0, Ba and Cabaye. -
I'd be happy. Although I'd be hoping for a little more than 11 in the next 10, 11 would still represent winning the games we should be winning, and if you had've offered me 30 points at the half-way mark pre-season I'd have well and truly taken it.

Who do you want relegated this season? (2011/12 Edition)

Fair enough. Thought I was missing something about them being a particularly scummy club or something. -

Why so much antipathy towards QPR? Surprising number of people want them down. -
"Resolve"? Interesting choice of word.

I've been taking optimist pills today. He'll sign and see out his career with Newcastle. Just a feeling.

This is the bit that most worries me. The optimism is building, of course it's time for Mike to fuck it all up.

Can you get your old avatar back? If you're talking about the one with Veronica Mars, seconded.

Just out of spite now I'd be happy to see Leeds make it back up and not offer him a contract next year.

Not so sure about that. They'll gather their share of the arrivistes. But Manchester City just aren't as sexy a concept as Chelsea were went they did the same thing a few years back. Speaking from a purely Yank perspective. Maybe its the London bias, but I can't see American glory-hunters going for Man City in the same numbers as they fell for the "big four". (That is, unless, they really go over the top and dominate the Premier League for two or three seasons... ) Nope, two of my friends are now Man City supporters. They previously supported West Ham. People like these guys just piss me off. I don't understand how how easy it is for some people to switch teams. Really bizarre attitude that.

Yep, clearly dressing room camaraderie is shot too.
