I've read the plan is to buy Inter, Marseille and a top level Brazilian team. I would have no concerns how that would affect us. I don't think it would look like a good, better, best arrangement ala Red Bull but more of each club on an equal footing with it's own directors. Brazil of course would be the vehicle to identify talent in that area for eventual movement to the continent.

Ake and Nketiah on loan would be sweet. Add in Kamara and Trippier. That's just to start. I have a feeling with wilson out and ASM up in the air the consortium will be much more aggressive. Also, if PIF do buy Inter there could be some avenues there as well.

All these guys had their last best days under Rafa, 18-24 months ago! Not only have they been coached down but their legs are going. Clark was a canny player here. We talked about Lascelles for England. Schar, Fede, Radgie, Hayden all shined under Rafa and some before. That was a long fucking time ago. Fuck Mike Ashley and fuck anyone who doubts he fucked his own team over.

It might be a good idea to allow clubs to register 30 players instead of 25? It would favor the bigger clubs, obviously, but a five player buffer would help everyone.
