Really hope there is some room to make some serious moves in the summer, because it feels like the sides around us are all strengthening and we've weakened. Even the likes of West Ham and Everton have improved their managers and may well come into the upper-mid-table conversation next year if they buy well. Understand the moves we've made in this window although I do think we could and should have utilised the loan market to give us a fresh face or a bench option. Eddie himself spoke of the important of fresh faces in every window if possible just to stop the squad feeling stale but we/he seems to be reluctant to do loans. Summer will be interesting but can't help think we'll end up underwhelmed again.

Great goal that tbf.

2-1 Sunlin. Isidor did well but the Boro keeper got done an absolute kipper.
-
£20m Dan Neyul with a deflected byewtay to go 1-1
-
Will go down as one of the strangest outgoing transfers in our recent history.
-
1-0 Berra There'll be some FEWM over on the groomers about that goal as they'll claim the little gnome Roberts was fouled in the build up

41 players used by end of January deary me. Sounds way too scattergun and no wonder they're doing badly without a settled side. Thought some of the signings they made were really good e.g. Scott, Embleton but seemingly just in a downward spiral Hope they can get safe and Iron Mike can get fixed up elsewhere as he seemed to start his managerial career promisingly before he pitched up at Carlisle.

Isak's not sat on our bench most weeks though is he?

£20m for a free transfer six months down the line, if accurate, is astonishingly good business. It's like the flip side of when we paid £8m for Boumsong on the same timelines.
-
It's a good flip for PSR this, just hope we aren't left short. This is where we should loan in some cheap cover.

Something going Wolves way for a change.
-
Yeah this annoys me a bit, a fresh face or a new attacking option to come off the bench could have done wonders today. No way there wasn't anyone available who could have given us a short term boost.

Fulham, West Ham, Bournemouth, Brighton all wandering away with max points this season. You're always going to lose one, maybe two of those sort of games but all four is really slack. We're horrid at home chasing the game second half, have been most of the season sadly.
-
Fulham have two actual strikers and brought one on to score the winner. They're surely in a similar PSR boat as we are?
-
Didn't even try a leg there. With his injury record and patchy form, I'm gutted to say he should go this summer. And when he's on song he's so, so good as well. Just not often enough.
-
Utter shite, that. We've had too many limp, soft as fuck performances at home against mid sides this season. Absolutely nowt on the bench worth a toss to change the game, either. Shock, Fulham have two proper strikers and bring one on to score the winner.

I swear it's happened to us the last three or four home games at the end of the first half.

Wood hatty and Salah triple cap - great start

He's in a side that plays perfectly to his strengths, like. Likeable guy and can't begrudge him this extended golden form at all, although I wish Forest would fuck off a bit now

Kinnear was embarrassing and the football was putrid but he'd have kept us up if he didn't have his heart attack, we were drawing lots of games and averaging about a point per game overall. Carver gave us a hell of a scare and set some records in terms of losing runs but ultimately "did the job" in terms of keeping us up that year. Bruce or McClaren is the argument for me. Bruce was more of a cunt and it was a longer, more depressing period with worse football but he kept us in the division. SM wasn't a bad guy and did try to play better football but was incredibly out of his depth, naive, lacking in authority and relegated us despite two "spending sprees" (relative to Ashley's tenure). Hard to call. I'd probably go Bruce just because how much of a thick cunt he is.

£7m isn't bad seeing as we paid £12m two years ago and he's barely kicked a ball in anger since, if true.

That deluded world of RTG account is doing amazing work like. Proper funny.
-
He's wanted to leave since a few weeks after he joined, it's taken him this long to figure out how to say "I want to go back to Liverpool" in another language.

His PR guy has definitely seen the furore around the death threats to Michael Oliver and said best get that interview done and released, David. Hope he can move forwards with the rest of his life in a positive fashion.
