Why not Glenn Roeder? Thats why he originally came in before taking the managers job. I had a few mates in the academy at the time and they told me it was all changing for the better when Roeder came in, things were improving untill he left the position and it all went to pot.

On his ability as a player, I wouldnt mind him back if he was going for under 3M. Though when you look at his PL stats with Sunderland; 36 apps and 8 Goals isnt great, though I should imagine many of those were substitue apps. His record since returning to the Championship isnt fantastic either tbh, 27 apps and 9 goals last season and 21 apps and 11 goals, not sure if he tales pentalties at Cardiff either. However the picture below sickens me. For me he's a treacherous mackem cast off thats an average footballer. When Carroll came on it looked like the temptation to just whack it up to the big lad and feed off the scraps was just too much to resist for the players. Jonas was poor and Pancrate, christ he simply looked like he didnt know what he was doing. Harewood was useless, his final performance summed up his loan spell for me, dissapointed with him. It looks like whatever corparate cunt who picked MOTM was having a lauh at Butt's expense and taking the piss, either that or they were a fuckin' moron. Our support wasnt fantastic today mind, in the first half we were pretty loud, in fine voice then in the 2nd half we barely sang at all, probably to do with an early kick off and alot not being as tanked up combined with a poor performance.

The first 4 years of the decade were simply fantastic under Robson, not quite the entertainers but still magical. The following 6 years were a downward spiral of misery, false dawns and mismanagement with the odd good time inbetween eventually cluminating in our relegation. We've had it good this decade, we've had it bad and tbh, I can see the next decade being just as much of a ride, after all, this is Newcastle United we're talking about!

Maybe it's less of a moral problem and more of a losing-your-place-to-Robinho problem. Robinho dosent want to know, and even when he did want to know, he wasnt all that great tbh. He looks fat as fuck aswell but maybe Mancini will get him playing.

400K is a good deal for us. Dont even think he's worth that. He's 22 now and cant even get a sniff at Burnley, that suggests he'll never make it as a premier league footballer. That equalizer against Man utd was class like.

As harsh as it sounds they were right to sack Hughes imo, should have done it when they first came in. He was given thr resources to assemble a worldclass team full of worldclass talent, for me your never going to have a worldclass team without a worldclass manager, something Hughes is not. They went all out to get the best players in the world, why not one of the best managers in the world to manage them rather than sticking with a guy that did a decent job at Blackburn? They were right to get someone in for hughes, but is Mancini one of the best in the world? Im not too convinced.

I dont beielve any this about Bellamy kicking off like. I mean surely he isnt that thick that he'd f*** up his last chance of some success. He's at a club thats gunning for the top 4, he's 30 year old now and he isnt going to get another crack at winning a big trophy whoever he goes to. The little gobshite is a very good player and sometimes people forget actually how good he was here under Robson and imo could be key to Manchester City's prospective rise. The same goes for Given as well, he us for one reason and one reason only, to win trophies, surely he wouldnt throw that out of the window in place of a bit of loyalty, if that was the case he would have stuck around here. Personally I think it's s****, dosent really make sense; Bellamy wanting to move on over on moral grounds, morals that he's never had throughout his career and given wanting to give upthe chance of a trophy for loyalty.
