  1. Wouldn’t that stadium location put you right in Bristol City territory?
  2. He’s been placed along the front line, including LW for Canada, however his best position is a FW with a strike partner. He will probably need someone with pace working off him. From what I have seen of him he’s more of a traditional number 9 but playing slightly back in a 10 position, if that makes sense?

Yeah. Unless they had more money than PIF they aren’t buying them, because with us being so close to each other, and places like Washington, South Shields, and places in Durham being borderlands, the future fan base will shift towards us if we become successful.
  4. 100% bullshit. He’s just another Geordie dentist, where everyone thinks he knows what’s going on because he lives in the country where rumours are coming from. The Geordie dentist largely came to the forefront when BZG were supposed to be interested in buying us.
  5. Dude………….….……. What the fuck?
  6. Paqueta channeling his inner Ben Arfa.
  7. Absolutely won’t be happening at all, but the Mirror are saying that we are in for Neymar.
  8. The new rules are UEFA rules though, the Premier League will have their own set and with those working for the Top 6 in preventing us from reaching them, and the other clubs not wanting us to leave them behind, I can’t see any sort of drive to follow a similar path.
  9. 100% Bruce was swinging most of that Carling, it probably wasn’t even a prank by the lads, they probably knew that’s Bruce’s go to, and wanted to help him get in Bruce’s good books.

Fucking hell man, players like him are why they have spent 4 years playing in League One.
  11. It’s taken from the live standings ahead of the final day of the season.
  12. Not say that Man Utd owners aren’t bad, but I think the main issue people have with their fans calling the Glaziers bad is because they do it because Man Utd are not successful. If Man Utd we’re winning the league etc, then I doubt any Man Utd fan would be complaining about how they are run and how they were bought via a leveraged buyout and the debt keeps getting piled on. If Man Utd went out this summer and rebuilt and won the title for the next 3 years on the back of more debt, the people complaining now wouldn’t give a fuck, and would only start complaining again when that period of success stopped.
  13. Why are Man City fans destroying their own goal post?
  14. Be good to have a local company, but what industries do we have left big enough to sponsor us? Sage is probably the only one that comes to mind.
  15. Pretty sure that Keith guy was taking the piss out of that kid who was the Sunderland mascot. Absolute no fucking need like.
  16. I honestly don’t think we should be looking to buy from fellow Premier League clubs. Very few players would be an upgrade on what we have or where we want to be, and the bigger clubs would be selling us their shit.
  17. In all fairness, we are now untied of Ashley’s restraints.
  18. Very happy for York. Absolutely no way a club of their size should be as low down as they are. I think they got fucked over by COVID in recent years when it looked like they would easily leapfrog everyone to promotion, but the league got cancelled.

I actually think Ashley might look to try and pick them up cheaply. Their stadium and training ground is a step up from most Championship teams, but a noose around their neck in League One. He might think he could get them on the cheap and be able to mastermind his way into the Premier League by buying the right players (which he won’t do), much like what he hoped to do with Derby.
  20. Just let’s us see the fucking games.
  21. Spurs have a Beavertown brewery in their ground, and we get pig swill.
  22. We didn’t, we took them to court and it was evident that the Premier League were going to lose because the evidence suggested that A: There was no reason in the rule book to not allow the takeover, and B: It was clear that they were deliberately trying to prevent the takeover on behalf of some members of the top 6. Once they were practically forced to allow the takeover, they immediately changed advertising and funding rules to prevent us from benefitting from ownership funding top 6 clubs benefit from, however made it so the top 6 can still benefit.
  23. So anyone picking Goal, a movie about a rags to riches player making it in the game needs to grow up. But a movie about a player going to jail and playing against the guards which is the exact same story as an American Football movie is the better movie?
  24. It will be Leeds, but would like it to be Burnley.
