Yeah but he's currently performing comfortably at a PL level. It's not like we'd be taking a punt on someone who might not work in this league. The potential is to be one of the best CBs in the world. Hall was a bit cheaper (I thought we got him for a bargain price) but it's a similar kind of signing.
