Bingo. We can’t play through balls to Nick in the middle because of his lack of pace. When we do play through the middle it’s normally against a team with lots of people behind the ball with Nick having come really deep for it. Wissa can make runs through the middle but he’s still not particularly pacy. When we attack we do it so fucking slowly, almost every time. I don’t understand it at all

I can’t get past those two left footed crosses out of play yesterday. His foot wasn’t remotely in the right place, he doesn’t have the technique to cross in that way and it’s probably part of the reason why he doesn’t always go down the line as he doesn’t have confidence in his ability to cross the ball

Gordon can’t volley a ball or strike from distance other than a curler right footed shot but even then it’s not that powerful. Joelinton can’t strike from distance Bruno can strike from distance but not with power, he does get excellent curl though and can keep it down Hall, Miley, Tonali can all strike well from distance. Trippier is done when it comes to striking from distance Elanga can’t strike from distance Murphy can strike really well from distance. Dont think Wissa or Woltemade are made for striking from distance at all. Osula is probably better than them at it

Think with the way he plays he’ll break down at least every ten games at this stage in his career. Still think we need to sell in the summer despite him being a Newcastle hero
