  1. Loan with option to buy I hope. Really like him as a person, got a fantastic attitude and works really hard. Would love him to be a success but don’t think he’s got a future in the premier league
  2. Might actually make it to one of these for once, where would you normally play?
  3. Yeah, huge respect to our fans from elsewhere in the UK and worldwide, feels pretty amazing to hear about people supporting us who have no connection to the area and just fell upon us almost randomly but ended up obsessed. I’ve lived away from the north east for many years and finally returned in December ‘22, supporting this club made my year abroad in France so much easier to deal with homesickness. Supporting NUFC when I lived in London gave me something to connect to when at times the city just swallows you up. also really interesting to hear how much people were swayed by Shearer. Having a superstar, especially an English or British one is massive for support outside the region. Hopefully the area will produce another top class player again one day
  4. Better at offensive headers without a doubt
  5. One of Britain’s best tax evaders
  6. Match threads are decent as long as we’re not losing. Immediately it turns very sour. There’s still lots of moaning when we’re drawing and we miss opportunities or the opposition come close but I don’t really mind that. The whole point of being a fan is that you have sharp switches in emotion, so it’s only natural it gets played out like that on here too
  7. Thanks Keith, desperate to click the follow button for more of these insights
  8. Not a surprise that clubs are being quoted massively inflated fees when Chelsea are walking around a strip club with wads of 50s and handing out handfuls every time they receive so much as a smile
  9. Sounds like we were very close to landing him for circa £25m before Watford pulled the plug and we turned our attentions to Isak. Since then he’s looked very good but has picked up several injuries and is currently laid off for at least another month. If he hadn’t signed the contract extension and been injured I’d want us to go for him but his price and injury record means we should look at someone who’s earlier in their development than him
  10. Think we’ll have a sackathon on once the first PL manager goes
  11. BREAKING NEWS - “If they get some money they might spend it I think, maybe, but don’t count on it but it’s possible”
  12. If there is genuine interest from Forest I’d be going all out to find a young and upcoming striker like Joao Pedro who isn’t going to command a huge fee and still needs to develop a fair bit. Could potentially be our best chance to offload our friendly kiwi

No way, was that in ‘08 or ‘09 or later? That completely passed me by if it was when I was there. I can’t fucking stand university politics though and glad I wasn’t aware as Harry Cole is about vile as it gets. Would have celebrated him losing though. Had a few mates in Sciennes. Did you ever consider sticking around there after uni? I would have done if there’d been better work opportunities. Still got a good few mates in and around Edinburgh though so can’t wait to head back there later this year
  14. Would actually be a great move for all parties
  15. He was, has turned it around now though. Looks a fantastic player
  16. I think his reporting on our signings, especially those from abroad has been abject. He had no idea what was going on. I couldn’t really care less either way, I’m sure he does have some links to knowing what’s going on so I’m not going to discount everything he writes but his hit rate is very low. It doesn’t help that he’s a WUM and is desperate for attention
  17. I love Ziyech but don’t think he’s right for us really
  18. Agreed, 320 minutes of football tells me he’s ready for the scrap heap. Not really fussed about the fact he was outstanding at Bristol Rovers or the fact that he’s 20, hound him out!
  19. Stick another one on for good measure, Botman. 5-0 trouncing
  20. His ability at getting the ball out of his feet is amazing, that turn he did that’s mentioned above was a fantastic piece of skill and his turn and shot was also great. He’s such an archetypal striker, comes to life in a second. Looking forward to him putting some away in the next few fixtures
  21. Surely not, can Boehly afford to lose that sort of human capital?
  22. Surely we all would, that trophy cabinet can’t just collect dust forevermore. Although, I don’t mean to discredit the Diriyah Season Cup as silverware doesn’t come more precious than that
  23. Interesting, a loan deal would be a better fit for me than a proper contract, but with the option to buy. I think Eddie said he’d only really look at those deals for loans anyway
