    St James' Park

Way to rip the heart out of football. I can understand the point in making your mark with advertising but that's disgusting. It looks desperate, gluttonous and it'll affect my experience on match days. There just wasn't any need to go to these lengths
  2. I don't know who writes for MSN but every single article they produce on any given topic is horrific. It fits in with this new culture of celebrity, buzz words, cliches and just filler crap which has absolutely zero analytical relevance. Filth

    U23s & Academy

Just give the lad some time in the PL Pardew. Lovenkrands can get to shit
  4. I think PhilB is cracking under the abuse Liverpool receive on here. All the jibes have done him in, along with the fact that Liverpool don't look like they're going to achieve anything soon
  5. That's exactly what I'm saying. People can say what they want in interviews, when it comes to decisions, people often do the opposite. He should play for the country that he feels the most allegiance to, the one in his heart but if there is no feeling there, then practical considerations will dominate which country he plays for
  6. This is getting pretty political which is typical of most French discussions. The fact is, like Sewelly said, it's not a definitive judgement. If he pushes on, gets some first team action in the PL this season, I could see him opting for the French national team. It's very difficult to turn down the opportunity to contend for major international honours
  7. Will score a 20-yarder against Spurs right when we look like we're fading #premonition

    Alan Pardew

HTT is one of the best posters on here but I don't agree with his sentiments regarding Pardew. I don't see what he could have done better, he's so far managed to bring a lot of fans onside who thought he was an atrocious appointment. A lot has gone against him, firstly arriving when we were in a decent position, if we'd faltered at all, he'd have been slaughtered, then we lose Carroll with no replacement. That could have derailed us and then we have a shocker of a summer in regards to pre-season games, somehow this doesn't affect our PL form and we perform well. You can't possibly ignore all those setbacks, he has to take credit for instilling discipline in the side and maintaining a strong team spirit which could have easily gone to shit.
  9. Gervinho reminds me of Obertan during Obertan's poor moments
  10. Come on Birmingham and Wood, Mclaren is surely gone

    Alan Pardew

One thing I do like about Pardew is he's just about honest about his assessment of our performances in his post-match interviews. Unlike some managers who spout s*** about how unlucky they were despite their shitness in the game. Honesty is just a fantastic trait in all aspects of life. When managers come off and say they didn't see an incident which would have helped the opposition team it makes me feel sick. How often do you hear managers say it the other way round? They've always got an opinion when it works out poorly for them. Give it if you can take it. Pardew seems like the kind of guy who can charm the officials a bit with his chatter, motivate the players, keep the board onside and give the fans something to cheer about. It's pretty rare that you get someone that can cover all those
  12. Worst game in recent memory. Felt absolutely sick every time they were in our half
  13. Needs to sort himself out. He comes across like a disgusting little Goblin who's had all his treasure stolen. I've not seen many of Liverpool's games so can't judge them on form but, as has been said by many, his transfer choices will do nothing in my opinion to bridge the gap towards 4th spot
  14. Anyone seen his BBC interview? He has a slight scouse twang on a few words. Piss poor effort from him
  15. Perfectly written, sends shivers towards the end. Most fans know those sensations of trying to care about a different team in different circumstances and it having almost no effect
  16. He played in 12 of their 14 league games since he joined. The man makes me feel sick any time he opens his mouth. He's probably the worst thing on television. Someone mentioned in 'pet hates' or another thread that they think he may have a disability of some sort. Certainly I think he's mentally off the mark, this doesn't forgive some of the pain he causes in his analysis

    Football pet hates

That was pretty filthy to look at. Really pissed me off. Should get out the cards for pricks who act like that
  18. extract from his autobiography: Lucas Neill's lucky escape after breaking Jamie Carragher's leg By Jamie Carragher 4/09/2008 When my leg was broken in an horrific tackle by Lucas Neill in September 2000, my mates were ready to hunt him down if I gave the go-ahead. A few weeks later I received a phone call. "You won't believe this, Jay. We're in the Trafford Centre and Lucas Neill is walking straight towards us. What do you reckon?" Did I really want Neill to take a crack? "There's only one problem," added the voice. "Little Davey Thommo is with him." That was that. I could hardly let one of my best mates, David Thompson, now a Blackburn player, become a witness to an assault. Besides he'd have recognised the attackers. The impromptu mission was aborted and I sent a text to Thommo telling him Neill should give him a hug of thanks. As word got back to Blackburn about the near miss, or should that be hit, their coach Terry Darracott, a Scouser, appealed to one of my friends to call the boys off. I agreed. Complete arsehole A real cunt this lad. Ugly in every apsect of his character, hope he disappears when he retires instead of causing needless pain on television

    Shola Ameobi

Shola may not be the best player in the squad but some of the abuse he gets is pathetic, especially from some of our so called "fans". I'd never give him s*** during a match but I think it's fair to say what you want about him on a forum. It's been over seven years that I've been hoping he'd leave the club and he's still here. If you don't voice your opinion what's the point of even coming on here. I agree that sometimes people just lump abuse aimlessly at anything and everything if things are going badly but Shola has been a weak link for years and it's only getting worse

    Hatem Ben Arfa

Big fan of you Tunisia. Your positivity and optimism for the future is to be admired

    Hatem Ben Arfa

Incredible. I don't care how he plays, just so pleased to have him back
  22. Love this kid. Of the new breed; Ferguson, Vuckic, Sammy, I think Mehdi is my favourite. Think he's going to be a quality player
  23. Watched the 5-1 demolition of Sunderland in the Cock and Lion. Unbelievable atmosphere, was amazing. Place was rammed to shit by toon fans chanting and singing all the usual stuff.
  24. Cannot stand that King's speech shit and the happy birthday King Kenny songs. What a disgusting way to behave. They are without a shadow of a doubt my least favourite football club. Can't wait for the shit to hit the fan and watch as Kunty the clown licks it off. What a bellend
