Have you been able to talk to someone about how sucking rock hard cock as a child affected you psychologically as an adult? You’ve managed to come across as more of a cunt than Witch Doctor. Well played.

If/when we get relegated, Rafa leaves and years of Ashley’s ownership finally catches up with us. Then I think the attendances will drop right down and stay low. Was it the first game we went down when Hughton was boss, we had 37K? Attendances kept gradually increasing, as we kept winning. Until that time. People seem happy to turn up and watch our Championship squad play in the big leagues. Struggling to get anything against heavyweights like Cardiff and Huddersfield and getting pumped by the likes of the mighty West Ham and Leicester.

Corr. Talk about absence making the heart grow fonder I love Yedlin for some reason. Even though he isn’t very good. Basically bar 3-4 players, the squad isn’t fit for purpose. But by and large, most of the players seem to care and out the required levels in. The whole squad just severely lacks quality and investment. As we all know. So it feels hard to get too angry about most of our average/crap players.

You can tell we’re a team full of academy grads. Trying to play the right way all the while, not quite as physical and we’re not humping it long like they are. Or like our first team We’ll probably lose in the end. But they’re half first team looks woeful.

I don’t like the term and feel it’s a bit extreme. But Mike Dean really is an oxygen thief.

What a game. Fuck off Villa. Stay down there forever you pack of cunts.

I thought the Kenedy penalty incident would have been harsh. But the one in the first 5-10 minutes was nailed on. I think it was Ream who just scissored through Rondon and then may have got the faintest of touches on the ball after taking him out. Commentator: “Well he’s not got the ball there. But neither has Rondon. So that’s the correct decision.” Sorry, what?!
-
Probably. Seems the bottom half of the league is somehow even worse than last year, though and it’s the way most pf the games have gone that worry me. Just dire to watch and clueless in attack. We have a bottom 3 squad, but Rafa will probably be the difference and we’ll finish about 15th-16th because of his tactics.
-
Seems harsh to single him out, when it seems like our entire squad is out of form/inconsistent/generally shite. But he is so infuriating. Regularly makes the wrong decision and his crossing and long range shooting has seemed poor for a while now.

Everywhere else seems to say what a great documentary it is. On here we’re just ripping the piss out of it and saying it’s poorly made. I’m not sure if I can be arsed to watch it and make my own mind up.
-
Yeah, that's shit and totally misplaced.
-
What did he say about Ashley and the fans? I've obviously completely missed it I used to check up on NUFC news every dinner break and knew all the stories and rumours. I'm not even sure what position some of our squad are supposed to play these days

Most of those you listed are first team squad regulars? How many reserves or U23’s or whatever it’s called now is made up of fringe players and first team subs?

Matt Ritchie (now Technical Director at Bournemouth)

Didn’t agree with him coming straight back in the side. But Rafa obviously trusts him and likes his graft. He’s just one of many ‘nothing’ players that we have. If we stay up, it will be through hard work, grinding games out and probably relying on teams being worse than us. Such a lack of quality all round. -
Got a lot more time for him after today. Played his heart out, looked genuinely gutted and spoke passionately after the game. Shocking that Dean didn’t even stop for the head injury and nearly let Wolves score.
-
It was peak Danny Simpson, like. Everything was wrong with that. Ki leaving him for someone else because he’s on a card. Nobody else engaging him. Clark coming to cover nobody for some unknown reason and then running off again. Kenedy strolling back after just coming on, Ritchie not reacting to Doherty’s run and of course, Lascelles. Such a shame. As they deserved no more than a point and we killed ourselves today.
-
Seems to always have niggly injuries throughout a season. But he’s the skipper and is passionate, so maybe he comes back too early and plays when not 100%? I dunno, he doesn’t look as good as usual this season and seemed really immobile and hesitant today. Might just be because Schar and Fernandez have looked so decent. I’m not sure. But I feel like he was most at fault for both goals today.
-
Fucking miss this bloke. I remember being at Everton for his full debut. Cheiky (RIP) and him ran the show. I was young and naively thought that squad was going to do something and we’d be enjoying NUFC again for a long time. Oh how wrong I was.

I get what you're saying, but the walk-in was a flop and has just caused division between fans, far better to postpone this one and go again with far more people on board if/when he fucks up the sale and/or spends nowt in January. Obviously keep up all activities directed at SD in the meantime, as that seems to get right under his skin. The problem with that is, if history is anything to go by. We will continue to lap up the shit he serves and yet another window of spending nowt and another failed (assuming it isn't genuine/doesn't happen) takeover isn't going to galvanise the fans all of a sudden. There will always be those that just turn up regardless, support the team, not the regime etc. Plus more and more fans like myself, who just have an evergrowing sense of apathy towards the club. I used to follow the team up and down the country when they were equally shit and badly run and mis-managed. But I just can't even be arsed these days if I am totally honest. I'm going to the Watford game as a couple of mates were keen. But I'd rather not bother, which I never thought I'd find myself saying/typing. Every time people go on like this particular incident will be the straw that broke the camel's back. Then everyone just carries on as they were. I don't see why this will be any different.

Over 6 furlongs, I think Sissoko would win.
-
No contest, Yedlin. Depends on distance If it is a sprint, 100m-200m then D-Yed wins, no? I'd like to see this race now, actually
-
Martins seemed to have great acceleration off the ball over short distances. Yedlin looks like a track star and covers a lot of ground. Would love to know what his 40 yard, 100m and 200m times are.

Martin Dúbravka (now playing for Burnley)
Lush Vlad replied to Figures 1-0 Football's topic in Football
Poor all round, I thought. Dubravka looked flat footed and perhaps the positioning wasn't the best. Clark dropped off to go with Vokes, yet let him get a run on him and out-jump him. Schar had dropped to play him onside, regardless. That said, it's not often someone scores a header like that from the edge of the box so we might just be being overly critical as it was so undeserved. -
Classy as fuck last night. When a few were losing their heads and Burnley were just pumping it long and tearing about like lunatics. Ki was just always so casual and kept it simple. Hard to call MOTM, as I thought Diame and Yedlin were both superb with their workrate and getting stuck in. But I think this fella probably deserves it.
