I'm not strongly against the idea of selling Cisse, but I wouldn't feel comfortable selling one of our most effective players when there's a strong chance he won't be replaced properly (if at all). IDGAF about Tiote though.

Although I agree we had a rotten tournament, and English football is a disgrace etc...I can't be doing with all the bluster that comes out when we get knocked out the u21 tournaments. Losing the u21s is a disgrace, but our win at the u17s last year is ignored. France and Spain didn't even qualify this time so I'm not sure we should read as much into this tournament as some people do.

The only good thing about the U21s being crap is it kills off Southgate's chances of becoming manager of the senior team. I felt that if the U21s had a good tournament, and Hodgson stepped down after the Euros, he'd get the job.

I don't care what Inter sell him for tbh, I don't miss him and wouldn't want him back. We were wrong to sell him without replacement in January though.

Shawcross is exactly the type of centre back we need, but silly old NUFC have let Stoke establish themselves as a better club than us so there's no chance he'd come.

For me, a kit has to be simple and traditional or totally over the top like those mid 90s kits. There are too many kits these days that fall somewhere in between. Everyone has to have some stupid, ugly pattern or in our case, some random blue bits.

That's the big problem. People like Keown and Southgate used to be back up players, but I'd kill to have players of their quality nowadays.

Yup. I actually think if we gave him a decent squad he could do well. I reckon he'll have Newcastle where their squad deserves to be, he won't overachieve, but he won't underachieve either.
