You’re a bunch of soulless cynical feckers!

There are always twists in the Magpies’ tail.

To be fair my head might explode if we finished below Sunderland this season. About the same probability of both outcomes at the moment.
-
I don’t remember us being great against, newly promoted and ultimately shite, steaming Hampton. Admittedly we were hampered by losing Schar in the first half.
-
Very little chance of that as far as I can see. Cue Rod… .

Lots of positives from today, plus would have snapped your hand off for a drawer before kick-off. Plenty of top third teams will let beaten at Villa. So far so good.

Just priming a song for Seung-soo’s debut 😉 🎵 All the players So many players They’re turned inside out Inside out in our Park’s life! 🎵

Tactical masterclass thus far. They just aren’t ticking and can’t keep possession/get through us. Recall Howe saying something like you often learn more from heavy defeats. Maybe we have 🤞.

Good to see Seung-Soo on the bench. Rare to have the opportunity of such a step-up. -

He’s looked really good preseason and no doubt in training, so unsurprising that he gets first dibs on the starting position. -

Ear buds are your friend. -
Would possibly be the strangest football career ever!

And who knows how good he would look in our system. Sometimes the added lustre of being relied upon, your team playing to your strengths is all it needs for a striker to pop out of the pack of journeymen to position of master, e.g. someone who gets 4 goals in 35 games for one team and 34 in 67 for another finishing joint second top scorer in probably the toughest league in the world (yes I do mean Chris Wood).

Reassuring to hear. Guessing you are in a better position than most to ‘tell the sheep from the goats’.

Hugo Ekitike (not playing for Liverpool for a while)

Don’t worry, you didn’t say anything wrong, mate. Probably just convention to add some acknowledgement of circumstances of the loss. -
Everyday of the week, and twice Sunday.
-
Another ‘good person’ pick. Excited to see what he can bring to us.
-
He played 45 games last season. Not sure where the injury prone narrative has come from.

Wasn’t expecting this link, or this style of player, but would be absolutely delighted to have him here.
